A very nice hotel. No far from public transportation, but not as close to several of the major siteseeing attractions if we planned our stay in a bit more detail.

For a hotel that likes to push it's ECO friendliness, I found it odd that no drinking water filter stations were available. The hotel is however happy to hand out unlimited 600 ml plastic bottles of water.

breakfast was consistently good. The in-room amenities were standard for a 4 star hotel . Top floor work rooms and lounges were very much appreciated, when you wanted quiet time with the laptop.

My biggest issue was with the staff: unkind, unwelcoming to me and my family. Location is decent but it’s still a 10 minute bus ride (after a 10 minute walk) or cab to the closest mrt.

We found the internet service in our room dropped quite a bit which I found surprising for a business hotel. We did not inquire as it was just for personal use so perhaps in other parts of the hotel this does not happen.

Coffee/tea and cookies out each morning for guests which we really enjoyed. We did not purchase the breakfast package because we met our son who lives nearby for breakfast every morning. The hotel is exceptionally clean and rooms are big. The location is good as you are about a 7 min walk away from either the red line or the orange line MRT. You are very close to Maji square which was a lot of fun on Halloween. We stayed in Ximen last time we visited and this is a much quieter area.

the breakfast buffet I found a bit limited so for what they offer i thought it was pricy. i ate there only once and skipped for the rest of my stay.

perfect location, close to red and yellow metro line (around 10 minutes walk) there is a 24hrs supermarket nearby too. they make fresh eggs for your breakfast the way you want them

Shower/bath tub is a bit small; also, low water pressure. Room was somewhat musty - I suppose due to the age of the hotel. Cleanliness is not a problem, hope the air quality can be improved.

Best Western breakfast experience until now in any hotel in Asia. Large, clean and comfy room. Extremely friendly and supportive staff, especially the door men!

The location is amazing~close to public transport Nd major tourist sights were within walking distance or within easy commute. The neighborhood is full of restaurants and shops of all kinds.

Location is too far away from the central part of Taipei city. But they have free one way shuttle bus to accomodate this need, everyday.

Staffs are very polite and helpful. They tried their best to solve your problem, such as room service, extra table for your computer.

the hotel location is very convenient. it’s a lovely building with a history. it’s very clean, comfortable but also very stylish. the room is spacious with caring details. Japanese loo seat cover, full set toiletries are provided. it also has a lovely bakery on the ground floor. breakfast is good! overall, very nice hotel, strongly recommended!

The room was very clean except the water kettle, and there isn't a lot of space to work.

I think the hotel has some really nice small details that show they care. For example, they have yoga mats in the room to use and the TV can be easily adjusted to watch from different angles. Also, because the TV is adjustable, you can easily plug an an HTMI cable to the TV to connect to your computer. I really like that. One last thing is check-out is at 12pm.

It is a chinese style hotel. I think it has seen better days since it is just old. they didnt have a proper working chair.
