Nothing actually, will be great if there is more activities to do or have yoga/gym classes. Resort is starting to have signs of being a little run-down, time for an upkeep.

There was nothing I didn't like about this place and we will go back on our next trip to Taipei. It's a great place to get over jet lag and the uber from Taoyuan airport cost less than our airport ride in Los Angeles.

The service was exceptional, from the front desk to the restaurants to the spa. I almost cried when we were shown our room. It was huge and had a beautiful view of the tranquil river outside. The spa was excellent, there is a public portion that is also great! The hotel was a really short walk to the historic village, where we took a tram up the mountain. The village had amazing street food. The food in the hotel was gastronomy and one could tell that great care went into the planning and preparation of it. The room was supplied with coffee and tea and snacks. All in all, it was very hard to say goodbye. Great accommodation and service for the price.

It needs urgent a make over, painting and some maintenance work all over. Unfortunately nowhere to sit outside to enjoy the view, we had to go somewhere else. The breakfast is compare to other hotels too simple and you have only two choices. Dinner the same, no wine bar or anything to drink after dinner. It’s actually in a high price range but I think it’s far too expensive for what it is. Such a beauty, with a bit effort easy to wake it up.

The Hotel is at an amazing location, you can enjoy the hot springs direct in the Hotel Spa. It’s tasteful designed and the staff is lovely and helpful.

The spa is quite full. We can’t make any booking when we arrived the hotel, shall reserve it in advance. Need to pay attention to the hotel shuttle bus schedule, as it’s only one bus for every 2 hours.

We can select the scent of the room, which made the stay very enjoyable. The food is great! (Afternoon tea, dinner, beef noodles and breakfast) I love the activities, performance and the art tour of hotel!

Our room’s Bathroom chair got moldy. The beef we ate at the dinner time was tough a little.

-It is very expensive! -Whilst the food was lovely, it would have been great to have a bit more choice at dinner and breakfast.

-The staff were very friendly and helpful. -The decor is lovely. -The rooms are modern, quiet and have wonderful views of nature. -Food is generally of a high quality and superbly presented. -The spa area has all the elements for a relaxing, and enjoyable way to unwind, with various temperature pools, a sauna and steam room!

The room was a corner room with the hot spring tub facing the restaurants. Despite some reflective glass, it was still possible for people outside to see into the room if the lighting was bright inside. That made us feel like we had no privacy when in the area. We wanted our hot spring bathtub to face the river and mountains and have the privacy to look outside and get in touch with nature. This room unfortunately deprived us of that. Generally the room was not such a good value. For the amount we paid, the room was not as great as expected. Also, we stayed at the hotel for one night only and we disliked the fact that you check in at 3 but you check out at 12 something we knew from before and we think it's not good value for money especially when in Taiwan it gets dark quite early in winter. The hotel's shuttle bus brought us to the hotel at 2 and we had hoped to be able to get in the room earlier. Last but not least, some of the staff at the restaurant were not speaking in English which is annoying for a non Chinese speaker since you are in a very good hotel, having paid a good amount and expecting that the staff hired would be speaking the international language.

The dinner at the restaurant was delicious, I definitely recommend it!!! We were impressed with the explosion of taste in our mouths! Even the midnight snack was of great quality! The staff was very friendly and polite and they are always eager to help!
