Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesPillows a little lumpy, would have liked more options for the included breakfast at the cafe next door.
Comfortable, clean, very friendly and helpful staff! Rooms are huge and well stocked. Even a stationary bike. Shampoo and conditioner are heavenly! Will definitely return to this hotel next time!

AustraliaHotel receptionist needs customer training, one of the staff when we arrived was smoking in the door entrance. I don't know if he is a hotel staff or just a guest but I saw him talking to the receptionist.
Reception staff needs to be considerate and understand customer's request and needs. I felt that one of the staff don't like us to be there. Otherwise facility is clean and location is great.

United StatesBreakfast was okay, the hotel provided vouchers for breakfast sandwiches and drinks to a local coffee shop. Got sick of eating the same thing for 6 days. The hallway smelled like smoke but we didn't smell it in our room.
The beds were very comfortable and bigger than normal hotel double beds. The room and bathroom were a good size.

SingaporeIt doesn’t have a great breakfast selection, but honestly I don’t think that’s a huge issue as there are many eateries near the area.
Great location! It’s near Zhongxiao Xinsheng metro station, and there are many eateries nearby. The room is spacious and kept cleaned by the housekeeping team. The staff at the reception desk are all very friendly and willing to answer any questions. I would definitely stay here when I visit Taipei in the future.

United KingdomHopefully they could increase the number of hangers/bars in the toilet/bathroom for hanging the wet towels. Currently only got two bars in the room. But for two people, we used two bath towels. Therefore, I have to put the face towel on the sink.
Good location, next to metro station. At least 3 7/11 around the corner. There are a lot of Taiwanese restaurant and breakfast place in the neighborhood. The room size is very big. Allow me to open two large luggages at the same times. Friendly staffs, great customer service, including house keeping team.

GermanyPlease read the positive first :D Because of the earthquake that happened right after our first night, there was no warm water in the building anymore. Which is very nitpicky for me to point out, because it is literally no one's fault, but we did have the super big king-size room with a huge hot tub. And we couldn't really make use of it even though we did pay for it nonetheless. I kinda hoped to get a discount as we really chose the more expensive room just because of the hot tub. One actual point that really bothered us was the air-conditioning. We don't like air-conditioning and we didn't want to use it but in humid countries you need it, even if it is just for air-exchange. We tried to make it go above 21 degrees, but it always returned back to it as it was kind of centrally controlled or bounded. So we had trouble sleeping. Not my first hotel in Asian countries but the first one with a very stubborn air-conditioning. Last but not least - the breakfast coupon is nice, we mainly used it for the coffee only, but the coffee shop next door seems kinda of pissed by coupon users as they were very unfriendly. Not directly feedback related to the hotel itself but to the included breakfast service...
The Hotel is nice, location is good and very clean. I really enjoyed the stay there. When we arrived there was a warm welcome with an employee absolutely fluent and confident in English that really surprised me. They were very helpful, took care of our luggage and even ordered a taxi for us on the last day. We were staying there when the big earthquake happened in April 24. Which was scary, but you could see the quality of the building's construction and the fixation of the interiors have been put diligently. We were in the hotel room as it hit. After this, the staff was also very engaged, cared for us and even apologized for the earthquake. Super friendly staff and great hotel.

United StatesBreakfast is a voucher at Louisa Coffee downstairs, but my goodness they messed our order up badly. Honestly better to just go to a restaurant nearby for Taiwanese breakfast.
Huge beds, tons of space in the bedroom and one of the biggest bathrooms I've ever been into. The location is stellar, near several great restaurants and shopping areas, plus MRT and bus lines are nearby connecting you to all over the city. Kind of wish our other hotel had been in this location too.

GermanyThe hotel does not offer a real hotel breakfast, but you get a voucher for a coffee and a sandwich at café around the corner. This is totally acceptable and not a downside. You should just not expect a large hotel buffet.
We had a pleasant stay at Wow Happy. Especially the large bathing tub with a whirlpool function was great to relax.

IndonesiaThe aircon was too cold, we ended up switching it off and felt just fine. Bed was a too soft but the folding extrabed was too hard.
Very big room and spa bathtub! Room is very clean and has good soundproofing. There’s also a stationary bicycle in the room. Breakfast coupon arrangement in Louisa Coffee next door is very practical. Love the 101 view from the room! Located in a quite corner but only about 5 minutes walk to MRT Blue Line and Orange Line, Huashan 1914, Fuhang Soymilk.

FinlandThe staff are all very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was outright luxurious. The location is very good too - on the map it looks like a quite a walk to the MRT, but in fact I walked there in five minutes with my suitcases. I only stayed one night after arriving on an evening flight. For this price category, this hotel is great value.
