Large room and bathroom. On-site parking and great location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Daily cleaning.

If you're not used to it, you might find the bed rather hard (seems standard for Taiwan though).

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location for Pier 2, with various food options and a convenience store nearby too. Very spacious room.

The room the shower as it never had hot water.8o

Allthough the hotel was very nice, we were disapointed with the room this room was not in the photo's on booking.com the shower was cold all the time. The bed was very comfortable. The room looked old. The staff were very helpfull and looked after us regarding taxi for sight seeing.

My room was very old looking and the TV wasn't properly tuned (very blurry).The room also didn't lock properly however the staff were able to fix it once I asked. The sound insulation wasn't very good I was able to hear the door chime in the lobby all night.

I liked the very convenient location to the pier and the MRT and the staff were very friendly and helpful whenever I needed it. They also spoke good English.

The breakfast was poor. A 7eleven style sandwich (in a packet) with some bland fried food (fries, onion rings, chicken nuggets). My vegetarian wife also got chicken nuggets on her plate. The TV remote didn't work in the room, either, but that wasn't such a big deal.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable.

The location is good. Pier 2 is nearby. Metro is within walking distance

It's a bit dated. We don't use bathtubs so the climbing in and out of the tub to take a shower was a bit inconvenient and the shower head needed replacing. Would be great if they could provide a bathroom floor towel too.

The location next to Pier 2 and the convenience of getting around to the places of interest in Kaoshiung was the best thing. We stayed for 3 days and for one of those days wanted to go to Cijin Island. The ferry point was about 10 mins walk away. We also wanted to walk around Pier 2 art centre, the warehouses and the Love River. All just nearby. There is also a 7-Eleven across the road if you need anything. Parking is available but it can be a challenge manoeuvering in and out of the tight space.

Our beds were a bit too firm for us and breakfast (fries and hamburgers or sandwiches) wasn't ideal.

Good being so close to the waterfront. 7/11 across the road was handy and a nice safe area to walk around. A tram is available to catch and although the full circuit isn't completed (it will be soon), its a cheap form of transportation to Dream Mall etc..

Nice hotel with an old feeling but modern equipment (loved the Japanese toilet). The receptionist Sara was extremely kind and available!

It wasn't super clean. There was still hair from the previous guests (or cleaning staff) on the floor. You can tell the whole building as well as the rooms are already quite run-down.

However the pictures on booking show the newly renovated rooms, which look modern, but we got old rooms. They are outdated and ran down, but still ok. So no fair advertising here.

Everything was OK!

We know the hotel since many years. They have made extraordinary improvement in all areas. Since Pier 2 has developed as very popular area for tourists it is perfect to stay at Wenbin Hotel.

The bathroom had a myriad of issues. The water pressure was very poor which is difficult for a day after the beach.

The staff were incredibly kind and the location was convenient. Right next to the pier.

I found the bed too soft, and for whatever reason, the price for Saturday night was much higher than on other nights… If you’re staying mid-week (at the lower price), I’d certainly recommend staying here :-)

It’s an excellent location - only a short walk from the MRT station and a short walk from the pier / port. The free coffee was welcome. Very friendly and helpful staff :-)
