This place just isn't super clean, and unfortunately it smells very bad on account of the bathroom not being a separate room, and inability to flush toilet paper. If possible it would be great if they would invest in some cheap bidets to solve this problem. Also the place could use a little more diligent picking up, there were often cans and bottles lying around in the dining area.

No proper ventilation inside the mixed dormitory. too hot inside the bunk bed. Aircon does not reach my bed location. No towel, they advise you to buy your own bath towel at COSMED. Too many dust. Im not comfortable to my bed.

Wi-Fi was not working at all during my stay. Also, please consider that Ximen is noisy area. My goon was under/above KTV and so it was really noisy till late night.

What I did not like is my neighboring guest, she's rude but that's not the hostel's fault. So all is good. I wish you have the option to change beds. Hehehe.

This hostel is in the heart of Ximending, great location! It's near Xin Fu Tang resto and Milktea, Hotstar XXL Chicken, and other food places. They offer free luggage storage before check in and after check out so you do not need to rent a locker. The staff pretty much speaks English but they are not 24/7.

Take note the floor below, a club playing live music can be heard from your bed late night. So earplugs or earbuds recommended. Bring a lock for your luggage too as the shared room don't have much space to accommodate luggage storage so you'll most likely be keeping it outside your room.

The location is smack right in the middle of Ximen busiest street.

I loved it that its in the middle of ximending and very near to the metro, accessible to everywhere. As a first time using hostel, it meets my expectation and I would recommend it and I would stay there again if I'm going to taiwan again, there's a free coffee, water and they will lend you slippers.

I was here on Labor Day weekend and the room I was in was quiet messy because the hostel was full. this isn’t the fault of the hostel, but the lack of space in the dorm made it hard to walk around everyone’s mess. the restrooms also did smell of urine like others have mentioned. the common area also had a bit of a funny smell, but nothing unbearable. the restroom smell was definitely off putting. if you’re a light sleeper, you might not be able to sleep easily considering you’re in the middle of a lot of stores.

the staff was kind and this was an ok place for a one night stay as long as you don’t mind some noise.

the shower was not very clean, there were no mat on the floor, the slippers seemed to be scattered on the floor too. a bit too loud at night to because it is located in the central area of taipei.

i liked how chaotic it was, especially in the lounge area. there were people from many other nationality, ages, and appearance.

The location is in the downtown and really easy to go everywhere. It is near Carrefour market, so you can buy fruits and foods. There is much discount after 21:30.

The dorms are pretty tight but I guess that doesn't really matter if you're just in your bunk to sleep. Facilities were okay- clean enough for me but not spacious.

Really convenient location! This was one of the most affordable hostels I came upon so you do get what you pay for. It has everything you need but there are definitely more spacious and comfortable options out there.
