Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

MalaysiaIt is out of nowhere and hardly can get a public transport to bring you out for dinner. Hotel was not providing dinner service during our stay as it was their off day for dinner preparation during that few days. Need to bring along insert or mosquito repellant as it has lot of mosquito due to the forest environment.
Nice resort to stay for staying away from the city environment. Cozy environment which full of anion as it is almost fully surrounded by forest. You will enjoy relaxation, the staffs are extremely helpful and approachable.

SingaporeYou have to have a car to come here. The slope in the shower room is not properly done, hence the water is not drained properly. Other than that, all is good.
Room is big and clean. Towel, shampoo and body wash are provided. Bed is comfortable. Drinking water is provided. Overall experience is great. There is a big field outside. It feels great when you go out early in the morning and walk around there

United StatesWe didn’t like the breakfast served on the first day (not buffet style because it was a weekday) — just a plain cold sandwich and cold salad. Kind of disappointing. Small portion too.
Great staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet has a wide selection and follows Covid guidelines (delicious Taiwanese traditional style porridge). Clean and spacious family cabin with two bathrooms.

Hong Kong1. Poor location - in the middle of nowhere, not accessible through public transport. No taxis available either. Not even marked on Google maps and we struggled to locate it - we dropped a pin after we went. 2. The hotel staff don't speak English and it wad a struggle to even arrange a cab to the main town. 3. The road to the cottage is a gravelly road and they didnt even offer to carry the luggage until we signed it out for them! 4. They said no onsite restaurant, howver we saw people having dinner there at night. Staff said they had booked the meals earlier but didnt even tell us how we could do the same. We checked out after one night even though we had booked 3 nights. Stay here only if you have your own car and know the local language.
Property standalone was good - open lawns for kids to run around.

TaiwanIt's difficult to get a table in the restaurant for dinner unless you booked well in advance and there are not many other restaurant options around the resort so dining is a bit of a challenge if you don't want to travel further away.
Good location especially if you have spent the day at the Formosan Aboriginal park. Easy to park and large family rooms. There is a big lawn in the yard to play games and have fun.
