    Nothing!!!

The property is set within beautiful surroundings and in close proximity to a stunning beach with a beach restaurant. The villas are private and relaxing. The food was incredible, we ate at the beach restaurant every day, and the staff were exceptional. Special shout out to Eva who taught us some Swahili and always welcomed us with a smile. They all made our stay so much more enjoyable.

Were so thoughtful to arrange supper on the day we arrived as it was very late at night and also packed breakfast since we had to catch an early flight back home. The room we had was not very conducive for me with some painting going on near the room as I am asthmatic and they upgraded us to another room which was more spacious. Very much appreciated the loving gesture. Staff were very helpful especially Brenda at the reception.

Our stay at Maisha was perfect! I could not recommend this hotel enough. Our room was exceptionally clean, we chose the room with the spa bath and it was beautiful with the balcony and jacuzzi over looking the swimming pool. The staff were very welcoming and did everything to make sure we had a fantastic stay. The beach bar was also beautiful and just a 1 minute walk from the hotel. Everything was perfect! I will definitely be back

Wi-Fi is not the best… The hotel is 100-200m from the beach, but the hotel has a beach bar. I guess we just thought from the pics that is was on the beach🤷🏽‍♀️

So lovely pool area, like an oasis. Nice staff! Clean and so comfy rooms

I urge you (I know you already are!) to be socially responsible and take for the cats, who come to beach/pool bar. Feed them, take care of them and show them love. Ignore some rare complaints of the guests. They are living creatures and they need you.❤️

I enjoyed my stay in Maisha Nungwi very much. The whole hotel is clean and offers a nice shadow in the daily heat. I especially enjoyed in two lovely pools beside hotel, where I had a relaxing time. I loved the location as well. The hotel is located near the beach in Nungwi, but it's still quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed it very much. The food at the beach bar (lunch and dinner) offers more variety of food than the one at the pool. The most amazing thing about Maisha is their staff. Because of them Maisha trully my home away from home. I hope the management will pass along my feedback to all. I am beyond grateful for their kindness and honest smile they gave me every day. I would like to thank them all. Especially to: Muba at the reception for his devotion and ability to listen, Brenda for the best massage (girl with magic hands and the biggest heart), Abu, Eva and Radjab at pool/beach bar. Because of you my stay with you was perfect. I felt really welcome here. Asante.🙏

Had a fantastic time here! Everything was super clean, and the location was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Plus, the beach restaurant was top-notch, even if a tad pricey. Definitely worth it for the amazing food and views! Would highly recommend for a relaxing vacation. P.S. Big thank you for the beach bar's staff as they made my birthday special.

Nothing! Just please be mindful it’s a boutique hotel so the AC and power systems are bad across the island. WiFi was perfect!

Manisha Nungwi was a paradise oasis! The staff were extremely helpful and so friendly. If you don’t mind a walk it’s easy to walk to the main beaches from the hotel but make sure you save time to relax and make the most of the hotel itself it’s worth your time to relax! All the guest we spoke to said they loved it! The food is great breakfast as perfect! And the beach bar is only a short walk but serves the best cocktails and dinner.

    - The first night we had 3 big cockroaches in our room, so we had to call the security guy to remove them. - When trying to eat, the cat never left from our table and it was begging for food and „miau-ing“ all the time. We could not really enjoy our meals as it felt like it was alsbald about to jump on us or our table.

    - You feel like you are in a jungle because of all the plants - Room was great, spacious and clean (Jacuzzi Suite) - Food was great

As a suggestion the breakfast area could expand or moved somewhere else, since half of the tables are under the sun making them uncomfortable to sit since it can get very hot (maybe upper area?). We did not have a fridge in the room which could be essential for water etc. you can store everything at the bar anyway but it would be easier if it was in the room. Please mind it is not in the Center of nungwi but 15 min by foot.

It is a tropical and modern hotel at the same time . The hotel has 2 different pools (with salt water also) which could fit all of the guests - towels were provided. The personal was nice and helpful and you could order a taxi or Tuk Tuk almost every time. Although the reception closes at nights, people are guarding the hotel giving the feeling of security. It is also only 2 min by walk from the sea and near to the beach bar where drinks and food was served. Also 2 min away are the aquariums. The breakfast was delicious with many healthy options. It is switching to buffet and al a carte every other day. We loved the fact that our room was cleaned everyday (bed new towels etc) and also sprayed for insects (none was found in room)

Their policies about the half board and paying to have a fridge in the room in a place so warm like is Zanzibar.

The concept of the property is nice, makes you feel you are in Bali.

Soft drinks were not included in the price (full board). At least water could be included

The staff was friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. Always fresh and tasty. We really liked their concept that you ordered the meal based on the menu (it was not a buffet). The rooms were big and clean. Hotel itself was like a small oasis. We really enjoyed our holiday. Thank you!

Although the hotel is amazing, the beach nearby is dirty and you have to walk like 20 minutes in order to find better place. However, hotel offers transport by tuk-tuk (for 3 $), so you can save up you time and energy :)

We visited Zanzibar for the first time and thanks to the hotel Maisha we experienced unforgettable holidays. We were very impressed by the delicious breakfast, it was something that we were looking forward to every day. We appreciate that our room was perfectly clean during our whole stay. At the hotel, there are two pools surrounded by beautiful landmarks. And the most important thing, the stuff was very helpful and attentive. We really felt at home here.
