Best place in Nungwi to stay and to eat . Realy great host Margo who sorted all our problems within seconds. Would recomend 100%. Breakfast super good, staff great, attentive, friendly. Best service. Also great beach very close by with the most amazing sunsets.

Absolutely stunning garden oasis, so serene, two minute walk to the most gorgeous beach I’ve ever seen. Air conditioned rooms, comfortable bed, and a beautiful garden to relax in. The on property restaurant is incredible, make sure you try the grilled Kingfish, quite possibly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. All the staff were so welcoming and accommodating, big thanks to them all and especially to Jenna!

It is a very nice place in a quiet part of Nungwi, but still very close to the beach. The rooms were big, spacious, and clean. The garden is very lush and green, which makes it nice to enjoy your breakfast, and it also gives the rooms and balcony privacy. Breakfast was very nice and the staff was amazing & helpful. And don't forget to have dinner there as well. I would definitely recommend staying and dining at Atii Garden.

The Bungalows are located in a very nice location close to the beach, bars and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with all the facilities. Breakfast was tasty and delicious. The garden is beautiful and creates perfect shade during the hottest time of the day. So you can enjoy a beverage at the restaurant. Staff are friendly, polite and welcoming. Big thanks to Fatima (at the reception). We will definitely go back and the place is highly recommended.

We’ve just finished a wonderful stay at Atii. The staff were welcoming and very helpful at all times. The actual property itself is really beautiful, the plants and trees create a really relaxing atmosphere. The room was well decorated and very clean. We had a room with an outdoor shower which was a real highlight. It’s really easy to get free refills of drinking water. We had a really relaxing stay and would highly recommend.

Perfectly located in Nungwi. 2 minute walk to beach. The hotel itself is lovely and clean, AC in bedroom and mini fridge if you want to store drinks + snacks. The restaurant Moyo is AMAZING and makes some of the best breakfast on the island. It is freshly made to order and not buffet style which is great, all fresh ingredients used. The manager Tatiana and waitress Nasra were incredible in making our stay comfortable and recommending restaurants. The hotel went above and beyond our needs. The hotel is also situated close to the beach and many lovely restaurants and close to the department point for cruises and aqua sports. We will definitely be back in the future!

Nothing - and believe me when I saw I'm typically quite fussy about where we stay with a sharp eye for detail!

-The location is perfect, a very short stroll to the beaches and market stalls but despite the proximity it is genuinely an oasis of calm once you step inside the door in the wall to the stunning gardens that await you! -The rooms are generously spacious and with particularly high ceilings -The terrace area in front of the room is surrounded by lush greenery and towering plants / trees -The authentic and original design of the room gives it a boutique feel -The shower is quite simply the most powerful shower I have ever enjoyed (including my own at home in Ireland!) -The cocktails and food are delicious and incredible well priced for what you're actually getting. You will not find the typical cocktails on the menu, they are so much better! -This might seem like a small thing but the music that's in the background as you walk around the grounds is very cool, perfectly curated to put you in a relaxed mood. It's something that's way too often overlooked in hotels and restaurants -As a coffee lover, I have a to mention the best cappuccino we had in Zanzibar was here! -Last but most certainly not least, the staff. In particular Ricardo the manager. What a legend! Friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We had several great chats with him over the course of the few days about life in general but he also taught us a lot about the locality and country and connected us with some of his local friends to who taught us and showed us more. He was available for whatever we needed. At the same time if you want to keep yourself to yourself, it's perfectly possible to do this here as well. Pascal at reception also deserves a call out, so efficient and made us feel right at home from day one. The girls who work here are also very nice. -My husband and I, in our 40's had been in Kizimkazi, Paje and Stonetown before Nungwi and this accommodation was our favourite!

Service is a bit slow and internet goes on and off.

Staff is amazingly friendly and try to do everything they can to help you and make you feel comfortable. Rooms are modest but clean. The restaurant serves really tasty food. Location is also great with lots of restaurants around. Beach is wonderful with a walkable distance.

Amazing place in middle of a garden which make the temperature more reasonable. The rooms beautiful, clean and big. Very comfortable and surrounded by markets and most beautiful beaches in 3min walking distance. The stuff was super nice and solution oriented. Breakfast and dinner are delicious. I extended my stay as it was so nice here. Very recommend.

A very secluded corner of calm and beautiful surroundings at the Atii Garden. We loved our bungalow at which we stayed for 6 nights. Besides coming back to the bungalow after a long, hot day, we would find not only a clean room but a nice and cool one too; the host will make sure the air conditioning will be on too. How attentive :) The breakfast is just yamii and quite rich. You can order two meals and two extras too. The staff is very friendly; overall, we had a great stay, and we would always go back, while in Zanzibar.

i only have positive thoughts when remembering our stay there. Staff was soo friendly, breakfast was simply amazing and location was perfect. The garden was incredible... an oasis where we really relaxed after a day of travelling around. Beds, room, bathroom were of top quality. Very spacious also. I can't express enough how great it was. Don't doubt when looking for an accomodation, go to Atii Garden Bungalow.
