We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Very good location, in between the locals and the beach. The staffs, Mohamed and Mahmoud have high quality service, always ready to help with a big smile. The breakfast is amazing, great variety, pleasant service and staffs. We could also use the pool from the Canary 2. Overall, i would highly recommend this place. It’s a very cozy beautiful hotel. It’s very close to the ocean, 4 min walk. Everything was perfect. The room was clean, the amenities added were very clean and thoughtful. The breakfast is very delicious and has variety of food. Also, Mohamed in the reception is very helpful! We had an issue with the reservation but Mohamed worked hardly to resolve it, he was such a great help, he is also very friendly! The staff as well was also helpful, kind and always smiling. Definitely will come again and recommend it!

United KingdomWonderful property, wonderful staff! Lively place to cool down and tv with Netflix was amazing for this area. The staff look after you - ask for mohammed he is awesome! Good location walking distance around Nungwi and safe. Anything else you need they can help they also have a tour desk on site to make it easy. Rooms are spacious and breakfast on the roof was a lovely touch.

Mohammad and his staff were phenomenal! Always helping us to have the best stay possible even after we had checked out. The breakfast on the rooftop was delicious and you could see the ocean from the distance. There were a variety of breads, proteins, starches, vegetables, and fruits at breakfast. The chef made omelets to order. The food in the restaurant was good, but be prepared to wait a little for it. Mohammed arranged a tour to the turtle conservatory for us which was helpful, as well as recommending the Moma Mia restaurant which was right on the ocean. The spa was wonderful!

The staff and manager are extremely friendly and very hospitable. Felt like we were staying with family! We were unwell and the staff made us complementary fresh ginger tea daily and would always ask if we need anything more. We missed breakfast and the manager went above and beyond and sent freshly made breakfast to our room. The food is exceptional and the kitchen/bar staff are very kind. The hotel is very clean and tidy. They even offer a complimentary massage for all guests. It also has its own spa facilities, a gym and gaming area to play darts, table tennis and snooker etc. The hotel is very safe and secure, so your belongings are always safe! Canary hotel is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Zanzibar. The most amazing staff and hospitality. Definitely recommend staying here if anyone is coming to Zanzibar!
