The rooms are all very original and customised. The structure is 3 min walk from the beach.

Everything was very welcoming, especially Shaggy (Rohan) who helped us organising our excursions and diving. He’s the best!

not all rooms have a “sea view” though it’s written in description. It was my filter for searching a place but finally I had a construction site view. regards other positive moments had smoothed it.

convenient location close to perfect beach area (just about 5-10 minutes) with no long low tides distance. very polite and helpful staff. there are disco nights. as for me it’s an advantage. it may be too noisy for some people - I had so active days that even loud music didn’t disturb me during the night. if you have a sensitive sleep earplugs could help. there is a bar from the same owner at the beach line with several sun beds and umbrellas - for hotel guests is a special price for rent. very convenient (but it could be better to provide its renting for free 🙂)

At night it is too dark to walk around alone. The sea view is too far. It is not front beach. It is 80-100 mts from the beach.

No full English breakfast as stated in the details, only option is fresh fruit and eggs which were nice - they should correct the hotel details.. The hotel is really a club with rooms, very quiet and isolated when it’s not club night. Most restaurants and hotels to get out and be around other people are along the beach which isn’t safe to walk along after dark.

Excellent value for money, our room was lovely, super clean with a great view of the sea from our top floor. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - very friendly and welcoming. amazing club on Sunday and Wednesday - very loud music until 4am and floods with people but the hotel make sure you’re aware of it before you come

Stunning place with lovely people. A colorful and decorated place and tastefully decorated down to the smallest detail. Cool atmosphere and of course the hotel has the most worthwhile parties on the island. I really enjoyed staying at the place.

Room is quite hot with no AC. It can be a challenge when it's extremely hot. The fan is helpful though. No fridge in the rooms.

It's a lovely colorful place and my room had a great style and terrace..perfect for reading and relaxing. Very clean overall. The staff is great and very helpful, very friendly and all speak English very well. The owners are also amazing and I really reccomend the place. It's quite easy to get to the town center and the beach area. I felt safe in the area even in the night. Cocco Beach bar is also a must! Good vibes and good music, close to the hotel. Prices are fair for food, and the food is delicious. The Coccobello parties are great! Good value for money. I would return.

you have to know that on wednesday and sunday nights they do big parties until late and the music is loud. the price of the bar inside the hostel is quite expensive.

The breakfast was listed as full English/Irish breakfast on booking.com but the breakfast was omelette and fruit every day which is, in fact, normal in Zanzibar. The fruits and the juice were great as well service though. We had Masaii men leaning against our room talking in loud voices and whipping something. It was uncomfortable as I don't think they worked there so not sure why they are there hanging around. They did move when after an hour we had enough of being unable to hear our movie on our laptop and asked if they could move somewhere else.

We loved the owners. They were welcoming,interesting and fantastic. They gave us good advice about the PCR tests and local entertainment. Ezekiel was also fantastic,going above and beyond to help us out as well and checking on how we were getting on. I loved the decorations throughout the room and the entire building. It was amazing,quirky,bright with great array of tiles and plates. It had hammocks as well as different bar areas,sitting areas so it was great. The vibe was great. The room was spacious and we loved the hot water and amazing shower. There were toiletries too. We also liked the lamps and lots of mirrors! The room is so gorgeous. We loved the party soooo much. It was amazing and lots of fun! They even had professional dancers there as well as DJs and great prices for cocktails and drinks. A party at Coccobello is a must if you are staying in Nungwi or Kendwa. They are a great mix of local and tourists which was just lovely to dance with people from all over Wifi was available in all areas including the rooms and it is strong. The beach that is right next to Coccobello is the best beach in Nungwi. It is extremely beautiful and quieter than the other beaches. You can walk along the beach to the next beaches,bars and restaurants as well at night and day. Therefore, I loved the location as well. Coccobello was actually the highlight of our trip around Zanzibar.

The first impact on the beach will be for sure a bit annoying because you'll be surrounded by Beach Boys that they will try to sell you gadgets, tours, excursions ecc. (not only in Nungwi but in general) But dont worry about it, just be friendly saying you're not interested and they will move to others tourists.

A colourful spot surrounded by nature really close to Nungwi beach, 7 min walking (where you'll find also a private Beach-Bar called "Cocco Beach "where u can listen good music, chill an meet new people around the world) Staff super friendly always smiling and ready to help you in case u need it. Owners Nicole and Tommy as well, cool and super friendly since the day arrived in Coccobello. About Room same, colourful, fresh (specially during the night, an clean. (You'll have also Cleaner sevice every day) One of the best experience of my life.

Coccobello is massively overpriced, both the hotel, food, etc. Staff is rude and the rooms feel dirty. can’t recommend anyone staying there.

only positive thing to say is that Coccobello is located on a small road that leads to one of the nicest beaches in Nungwi
