The freshly-cooked breakfast was so delicious, and especially we couldn't get enough of their bread and jam - yummy! The pool and being able to chill in the pool even at night was a great bonus! We loved everything about our stay, and will recommend to other teachers next year, lol, watch out!

The pool is very shaded which is a pity and the trees tend to attract a lot of bugs, the room felt a bit damp

Everything was perfect, there is great pool with a beautiful garden, kind, friendly, helpful manager as all the staff, tasty and big breakfast. The room was clean and cozy. Wifi worked very well. Thanks to the security, we felt safe here. It is a quiet place 5-7 minutes walk from the beach. We are really satisfied and definitely recommend this amazing place! Thank you!😊

Booked this place after having to cancel an alternative reservation. So happy we found here, couldn’t fault the location, staff & facilities, even down to the always friendly and helpful security guard at the front gate!

I hate we choosed to stay only 5 days at Gaia. The low/high tide of the ocean in the north is less visible and the beach is more animated.

We choose to stay 5 days at Gaia and 6 days în Jambiani(southern Zanzibar). I don't have words to describe our staying at Gaia. The garden and the pool was just spectacular🤩. The breakfast was various and delicios every day and the staff was great. The rooms, the garden path and the pool gets cleaned every morning + there is security non-stop at the entrance. The location is 5 minutes away from the beach and on the road you will find local grocery store, restaurants, ATM and gift shops. The manager helped us with advices and organising the trips for us as long as we stayed at Gaia but also after we left. Thank you again Jessica, hope we'll see you again soon 😊.

We loved our stay at Gaia Villas! Isaya and the rest of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The suite was very spacious and clean and the breakfast was nice. We especially loved the pool area with all the green around!

The hotel isnt near the beach , but u get used to it. The beach is 5 minute walk away.

Very nice apartment overall, clean with good breakfast. The staff is super nice , everything u need they provide for you. When it was bad weather the hotel organized free transfer to the restaurants and back home.

We didn’t have a clear idea of the location. Altough it wasnt a major problem, the walk to the restaurantsand the beach was a bit challending due to the state of the roads and no public lights.

For a short stay of three friends, it was amazing! Everything was well preparad having the guests's comfort in mind - comfortable and clean accomodation, great breakast, awesome pool, and incredible staff with great communcation, fixing services for us around the island and dven offering us taxis when the roads were too flooded to walk. We loved the attentive care and friendliness and would definetly stay again.

We could have a small pint of water near the room so we can clean the sand from the beach. A chair or a armchair would make the room more comfortable.

The walls are really thin, we could hear the neighbours but I think it is the same everywhere in Zanzibar

Everything was great in this hotel, so green with plants everywhere. Really calm and intimate as there are only 8 rooms. The room was big and super clean. Staff was really nice and we met the French manager who is so sweet. They even prepared us a breakfast to take away as we had an excursion early in the morning the next day. The pool is very pleasant. Breakfasts and lunches were so good. Location is great, next to 2 Nungwi beaches and shops. Security guards at the entrance is really reassuring. It was a perfect stay for us! Asante sana, merci beaucoup!

The staff were all so friendly and kind. Really looked after us and made our stay so amazing. We really didn’t want to leave, wish we had more time at this hotel. We also got breakfast every morning included in the price. We didn’t realise we got this so it was a lovely treat. There is a big variety of options, can have something different every morning. The staff were just so lovely. Especially Jessica, the manger. She’s so kind and friendly and was so helpful with great tips on where to go and what to see. She also gave us all gorgeous bracelets as a reminder of Nungwi. Highly recommend staying here. Great value for money.

Wonderful place with a very welcoming staff - literally green oasis with a charming swimming pool! Cosmetics, towels, separate bag for the beach and breakfasts provided. Great location, not far from Nungwi Beach. Highly recommended.

Everything is ok, but the owner could think about maintaining toilets in a better way (not talking about cleaning staff who is perfect). He should think about how to improve a drain system and paint the walls much more often or find a way to eliminate moisture, but that is just a tip!

This place is a piece of green heaven in crowded Nungwi.It has a beautiful pool which is actually the best part but also, you will eat a well thought out breakfast. You will feel safe because of the wonderful security guards who will help you to carry your luggage and to check all taxi drivers. Everything looks much better than in the pictures.
