There isn't much that you can hate about the place. It's not right on the beach so you have to walk a bit but that wasn't a big deal.

The complimentary breakfast was amazing!!!! The host (Tanya) and manager (Casa) were both incredibly warm and hospitable.

the only little negative thing is that we had humidity smell in the room , we reported that for the manager who told us that they are working on it (the last night we smelled less humidity)

evrything was perfectly perfect we really enjoyed our stay. the communication was good even before our meeting rrival to organize the late check in. Never saw such friendly staff, specially the manager who painted a perfect map with the best food,places to go and suggested to us what to depending of what we want. the breakfast was perfect also, quantity and quality. thank you for evrything.

I've found everything to be OK

Very nice small resort near to all amenities. The room was very clean and everything is in great working condition. The Staff has been really helpful and polite andare every day a superb breakfast with many different choices. The swimming pool is big, with nice night lights. Finally, I've found the location to be perfect: just a short walk from the beach and all bars and restaurants. Still not in the middle of the busy area so no loud music and perfect if you want to sleep at night or just chill out in your room private patio.

There was music from a nearby hotel/restaurant(??) Until 6.a.m. i strongly reccomend earplugs if you are noise sensitive.

The team was very attentive and caring, and made our vacation perfect. We felt very secluded, and even had the pool only for ourselves for one afternoon. Breakfast was very good. As instagram addicts, we had so many photo opportunities in the beautiful garden and pool.

We stayed at Gaia Villas for ten days this june, and we had a wonderful time. The hotel is located just a short walk away from the famous Nungwi beach. The amazing Kendwa beach is also within walking distance, especially during low tide. The hostess and all of her staff were so nice and helpful to us. They gave us many great recommendations for activities, sights and places to eat in the nearby areas. The hostess booked a spectacular snorkeling and dolphin tour for us, which we holeheartedly recommend! We had never tried snorkeling before. The hostess gave us many helpful advice regarding how to get the most out of it and how to choose and adjust snorkeling gear. We highly recommend Gaia Villas and we would love to come back in a not too distant future. Great place for young couples!

Beautiful and carefully thought out cabins with lovely bed, bathroom, air con and a little sofa to sit on outside. Breakfast was personal, fresh and delicious. Tanya, the owner, was friendly and helpful. Perfect stay!

You guys need to book this place! Made with love and style, great location, the hosts Tanya and Nirit were lovely. The location is max 7-8 min from the beach as written on the description, the road is dusty, but no big disconfort. Value for money is excellent!!

Great breakfast, you can choose between breakfast dishes such as Shakshuka, breakfast tacos, Greek yoghurt etc. That’s much different to other hotels on the island. Room was great, big bed with a hard mattress and everything was very clean. Host and employees are very nice and helpful when looking for restaurants and trips (esp. diving). The pool area looks like a rain forest and the sunbeds are in the shadow until noon.

Amazing place where we are really enjoyed and relax. They fully organize also our arrival, from the airport to the villa. We arrive to Nungwi in the morning directly from the airport (about 10am), so before the check-in, and from this moment they case about us very well. We have to wait for preparing the room, but it was pleasant waiting with coffee and the breakfast. We feel like in the paradise. The room was everyday cleaned and AC is worked well, except 2 long electricity outages (but it was global problem). We enjoyed the great deep pool every day and also in the evening or early morning before breakfast. They prepare for us a very tasty breakfast and we also enjoyed a afternoon coffee under the baobab tree. Tanya and Nirid recommend us a lot of tips where to go and where to eat, they also organize for us a whole day trip to the south of the island, where we stay on many nice places and had a dinner in the sunset beach. It was really difficulty to leave this paradise after 10 days stay. If we go to Zanzibar in future, we will definitely come back to Tanya villas! Tanya and her team do a great job. Everything was perfect, but maybe a little more storage place would be perfect.

Gaia Villas is a perfect place to stay, we loved it. Near the beautiful Nungwi beach, but in a quiet place. We stayed in the room for three and it was just like the pictures. Everything was clean and comfortable, the bed was good. The pool and the garden are really beautiful. They recomended us a lot of activities and booked them for us. The staff was really nice, specially Isaiah that made delicious breakfasts for us, with fresh fruit and juice, and a lot of dishes to choose from.

Everything was great, there was nothing we could complain about.

We have been amazed by friendliness, great hospitality and very nice atmosphere in Gaia Villas. The room was big just enough, cleaned every day and it was very quiet. We had there the best breakfasts we ever had in Zanzibar! The selection is very large. We enjoyed how peacefull this place is. It's like a relaxing oasis in Nungwi. You can chill there at the pool, surrounded by many big and green plants and colourful flowers. And this all thanks to hard work and friendly attitude of Tanya, Nirid and the rest of the staff. If we go to Nungwi in future, we will definitely come back to Gaia Villas!

Few minutes walk to the beach on not the best road, but it is not a big issue.

Lovely staff and excellent service! I had some problems and they were there to help. They even put some flowers on the bed for our honeymoon.
