Literally two minutes from the beach, with a good range of restaurants nearby. The interior and exterior spaces are very pleasant, the breakfast is delicious and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

The staff was lovely, but because the pole pole life style, in a few occasions I had to leave for tours without breakfast (which by the way was very nice and complete, best fruits ever) and the room was not cleaned every day (probably because they thought I was still inside). I could also have been more vocal to communicate my plans for next day. That being said, their service was impeccable regardless.

Aircon works beautiful. It was a life saver. Juliane and Machano went beyond and above to help me with my every need. That made a huge difference in my experience as a whole.

They could do better by providing guests with a complimentary bottle of water daily. We only got it on the first day.

Ideal location which is a stone's throw from the beach, accessible to restaurants, markets, bureau de change, aquarium etc. Spacious rooms with aircon/fan, outdoor relaxing areas and a really good homey breakfast and welcome drinks. The staff were not so fluent in English but they made the best effort to communicate and make us comfortable. The owner is extremely friendly and gives you a welcome tour of the small town area and makes recommendations for activities and transportation.

Amazing vacation experience. Me and my family were so lucky to book this accommodation our hosts (Julianne and Machano) literally treated us like family and attended to our every question and need. The accommodation is very close to the beach and reasonably priced reastaurants. We will definitely return here as it is our happy place.

Everything was super!

Such a lovely place run by a lovely family! They took care of us so good! Helped us with everything from good places to eat -to good places to go (and hidden gems). They also took us out on their new traditional sailing boat for sunset. Which I can really recommend as a super good alternative to the loud and crowded sunset trips you can book on the beach. The place is just a few steps from the beach on the quiet part with only couple of hundred meters to good restaurants.

Everything was great except the staff. Whenever we went on day trips, there was always a race with breakfast, it also happened that we didn't get the breakfast that was included in the price because the guy decided to sleep

Everything was impeccably clean, the rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfortable, they even have protection against mosquitoes, which was our salvation, air conditioning, fan, everything was available

The rooms were comfortable enough for family with kids, the area in front of the rooms was sandy with comfortable sofas and tables so you can have some dinner or a drink outside.

We had such an amazing time at the Mkadi Beach House. Juliane and her family welcomed us with open arms. Juliane did many extra things for us, for example helped us to book a snorkelling tour, taxi, informed us about Zanzibar and gave us recommendations etc. All recommendations she had were of equally high quality as the hotel the family runs. Very clean rooms, good Wi-Fi, breakfast served on a little private terrace in front of our room. The hotel were placed just a few meters from the beach with a lots of food options around. We loved our stay at Mkadi Beach House, and much because of how friendly the Mkadi family were to us. Highly recommend!

Lovely little bed and breakfast just thirty steps from Nungwi beach. Very friendly and service minded staff. The owners made us feel very welcome and had a lot of information and suggestions about what to do and where to eat, etc.

The property was steps away from the beach, restaurants and the supermarket which made it an ideal location. We were welcomed by Juli who is an excellent host!

The place is perfectly located. Just 100 meters to the beach. One can just walk barefoot. There are very close by restaurants and shops, but at the same the place is very quiet. The landlady is super friendly and helpful and can give tons of advice. The room is cozy and good for a small family. Breakfast is delicious with fresh fruits, jam, toasts, and cooked eggs.
