Outside of this being a paradise property, there isn't much to do. They do have a nature trail that is outlined around the perimeter of the property. They also provide spa sessions for additional fee. You can schedule game drive tours and other local tours from the front desk.

The property is a great place to rest and relax - especially if you're going out to a game drive. The grounds were beautifully maintained.

It could use some sort of refurbishing/renovation. The activities on/around the lake are rather pricey.

Beautiful colonial-style hotel in a wonderful estate full of trees, plants and flowers, with delicious breakfast and lunch/dinner, excellent massage services, ideal for a couple of days to recover from the Kilimanjaro hike. We really enjoyed the jogging track.

The only thing that could have been better is to have a choice between a menu meal and a la carte. Sometimes a full menu is just too much food, and to have access to a snack in between meals can be good

The hotel is very peaceful, green, and comfortable. The bedrooms are big, very comfortable, and extremely clean. The food in the restaurant is really nice, and all the staff is very professional but friendly. Every time we asked for assistance, they have been quick to react and extremely helpful. And the garden (and vegetable patch!) is simply beautiful. So, great hotel with the even better staff!

It was a pity that the small road from the main road to the hotel is full of bumps and not well maintained. Otherwise, it was great

STUNNING PROPERTY! I was very pleasantly surprised when we reached the hotel after a tiring journey through the city, but the crisp air and freshness of the nature rejuvenated me. The pictures on their website definitely DO NOT do justice to the property in reality. You get to stay in little huts, surrounded by nature. It was almost like you're living in a painting!!

It was freezing this time of year, the property provided a hot water bottle at night which I was grateful for. There’s also a fireplace in the lounge. The hotel is off the main road, with a rough road leading up to hotel, good for adventurers, but perhaps not for work trips

Beautiful place! We stayed there for our honeymoon (before heading to safari) and the hotel was amazing. The staff, so kind! They gave us a surprise for our honeymoon, very nice detail. Dinner and breakfast were delicious! The rooms, very comfortable and well equipped. The gardens were awesome as well.

No swimming pool and we couldn't access the lake in the evening.

The hotel was exactly what we were looking for on our short stay coming from Nairobi. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

road leading up to hotel is unpaved; hotel is off a beaten path so getting around to Arusha or nearby requires booking taxis. wifi didn't always work well; lodges feel old and have not been updated and and there is no heating at night so it can get very cold in the winter.

Lack of privacy. Happened to us twice. Random knocking on doors and staff abruptly accessing our room . Kindly I suggest you have a signage for DO NIT DISTURB in the rooms to ensure maximum privacy.
