It is a very quiet, nice hotel, where you can relax to your heart's content. You can spend time on a sunbeds at the beach, at the pool or at the beach bar. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and the warmth with which the staff always greets you. The food is delicious and the prices seem fair to me in terms of quality - price

You can only appreciate the beauty of this place even among the raindrops. The staff is always smiling, it's like the weather changes just by talking and having fun with them. I stayed in a room just two steps from the beach, spacious, clean and I was pleasantly surprised by the little animals made from towels by the girls who clean the room. All in all it was a pleasant stay, although in one part of the hotel I noticed that some pretty serious renovation work is being done to the rooms, but that can only be for the benefit of future guests in the end, so it's still a positive aspect. It's vacation, it's Zanzibar, we have to be positive

To be honest since I arrived 1 day late, I was denied a 1 day refund which I feel is not fair on me as this was out of my control and due to dubai floods and flight delays for 20 hours. I was given food which was lunch but during my stay I never ate dinner even though I paid full board. Thats just abit off putting. I left on 22nd of April but I paid up till the 23rd of April. Technically I over paid my stay and out of human consideration I should be provided a refund at least.

Hidden gem of Zanzibar. Loved my stay. Staff are so understanding and very friendly. Due to the dubai floods I lost 1 day so the staff were understanding and did not cancel my booking but since I arrived 1 day late and left a day earlish I should be given 1 day refund.

I highly recommend staying at Mambo ocean resort, the staff are friendly and very accommodating. The location is so beautiful and amazing, the food is very pleasant also and all prices are very fair and reasonable. This is a must see place in Zanzibar.

The bed is hard, I expect soft and fluffy. Breakfast needs more variety and better options.

Mambo Ocean Resort is perfection, very tasty food and good vibes of the staff. I loved the atmosphere at night cause there are many shows (singers, acrobatic show). The resort is very nice and very clean. The yard is very neat, with many palm trees and exotic vegetation. In the back there are 2 pools, one of which is for children and in front, very close to the beach, there is another pool. All are very clean and well maintained. The food was delicious, the beach special, the cleanliness in the rooms was exemplary. We got help with tours and airport transfer. Everything was beyond our expectations. We would love to come back anytime

I arrived here by chance, but I would have liked to stay permanently. It's a wonderful place where wonderful people cook. The hotel is located right on the beach which is very wide and has security, the rooms are very cute, like a fairy tale, they are very clean, they have AC, safe, hairdryer, kettle and mosquito nets around the bed. The pools are very well maintained and the vegetation in the yard makes you really feel like you are in Africa. The breakfast is very varied, you have several options to choose from and the food is sensational. I recommend and will definitely come back here

It is a wonderful location. It's very nice to wake up and have the beach as soon as you get off the room's terrace. The place is managed and maintained by some wonderful people and I'm talking about both the manager and the staff here. The rooms are clean and properly equipped, they have mosquito nets both on the windows and around the bed. The yard is gorgeous and the private beach is clean and wide. When it's low tide, a sand island appears in front of the hotel where you stand in water up to your ankles and take pictures as if you were in the middle of the ocean. The food is extremely tasty and the prices seem fair to me, value for money

Everything there is absolutely wonderful, it's like in a beautiful story, it's something from a fairy tale. Surely in this resort you can only go and relax and feel good. The staff exuded so much good energy that it was impossible not to feel comfortable around them. The food is one of the strong points of the resort, we ate the best seafood and the most delicious fruits and desserts. The beach area where the sunbeds are located is always clean and very well maintained. Being an area with low tide and high tide, the water recedes quite a bit in the morning, however, the resort has 2 pools where you can cool off. Both pools are cleaned every evening and every morning. If I could, I would like to live here every day.

The food is delicious, varied, always fresh. The rooms are clean, spacious and equipped with absolutely everything you need.

I think it is one of the most welcoming locations in Zanzibar and I spent some time on this island in different hotels around Zanzibar. First of all, the quality-price ratio is very good. At Mambo you have almost everything you need for a quiet vacation: good food, nice staff, cleanliness, beach, pool, nature.... I highly recommend Mambo Ocean Resort.
