If you wish for something more quiet & comfortable to rest & relax, then this might not be a great location. There's musik all evenings & then night partys during the weekend. But if you like to enjoy & party it will be great. Also the beds are small & short, so if you're a taller person this will be a challenge.

The camp itself is very nice & interesting, it's like a little oasis not far from the city (but seemes like it's very far from it). There's a lot of shade & very good climate because of it so you can enjoy & relax away from the sun, just a few meters from the sea. The staff is very nice & they will help you as much as they can. The beach bar is a wonderful place to be & they have simple but very tasty & affordable food as well, so you don't need to worry about it. The toilets & showers are being cleaned many times a day, so for this the location gets the highest stars! In so many places it is not like this - so I'm very happy, it was great. If you like to be in nature & enjoy being barefoot on the sand all day under the "palm" trees, by the sea... Then this can be a perfect location to visit. Give it a chance.

If you like sleeping I wouldn’t recommend this place. There is a club next to the camp with extremely loud music so it’s almost impossible to sleep. It’s more like sleeping next to a big subwoofer.

Nice Spot at the Ocean with a great view and a friendly staff. Nice and relaxing during the day.

The last time the house was dripping from the roof when it rained. We asked to fix the problem, but unfortunately nothing was done :( Electricity goes out very often, which is popular in Tanzania as well as in other similar places. Before leaving, mysteriously unpaid bills suddenly appear in the bar... As far as we had all the checks, we solved the problem, but it left an unpleasant feeling, because this happened for the second time! The first time we had to pay because we had not saved the checks

We stayed here for the third time :) - fantastic nature! The house is cleaned very carefully, insect spray is always applied at night. There are great events in the evenings by the pool, balls, DJ, shows! We were excited! In general, there is a very good and clean pool, a large selection of food in the bar.

Since it is pretty far away from the center, a lot of Uber drivers don't wanna go all the way there also because of the toll bridge. It would be great if the staff could give more recommendations on what to do in Dar or how to get to other cities (bus tickets, station etc).

The hostel is a bit far from Dar city center but next to a very beautiful beach! We arrived early in the morning and could already check-in. The rooms/huts have all you need including mosquito net. Nice staff and good food.

Old installations that need more maintenance. Full of mosquitoes. Not good to go if is a raining weather.

Very nice Beach and outside the crowded city. The food available in the restaurant is also good. Despite the odds is a good value per price ratio for budget travelers.

The rooms looked way different in the pictures and the place was very very loud. We couldn't sleep before 12 because of the loud music. Also the light in the room wasn't cosy at all.

However it needs to be cleaner! The bathrooms - both the ones for hotel guests and the ones for the restaurant are filthy. They are cleaned, but not nearly often enough. It was never a pleasant experience to shower or to use the toilet, and it is an issue that seriously needs to be addressed. The accommodation is basic, our bungalow was open to the outside so we struggled a lot with mosquitoes and critters in our room. However, I would still argue that the positive outweigh the negative and we would happily return once more.

The staff is super kind, the location is perfect - it’s super easy to get to from Dar, the beach is beautiful and very clean, the food is really good - all in all a good stay

U loved more tent patterns and beaches with less crowds.

I mostly like the Camp pattern and the open bath area. It makes sense towards the essence of the natural environment. The Camp is fully equipped with all the needs like a wooden bed, tea and coffee maker, and bath accessories. Even the beach is very good. There was no crowd and the entrance was decorated nicely. There are some games to play but it was paid. The pool is very small and not even cleaned. The seating arrangement was kept very nice and it was sufficient to accommodate the crowd. The staff is very cooperative. You can sit late at night on the beach, there is no harm, the security is provided. Swings are provided, you may use it for reading and light rest. Overall the place has maintained a cozy environment. It is a very good place.

Some of the staff was quite rude and very unmotivated, others were super nice though! Food is a bit overpriced but good. Room was okay but loads of things didn’t work e.g. bathroom door didn’t close, shower sometimes didn’t work or stopped working while having a shower.

Great location at the beach with loads of options to relax. Really good massage. They were super nice and prepared takeaway breakfast for us since we had to leave at 2am.

Make sure your banda is not on the north side of the camp, unless you want to feel like sleeping in the middle of those super-festivals. Super, I mean super noicy local parties whole night long, at least during weekend.

The banda was very cosy. The facilities are functional and the beach and the sand under your feet just lovely. A lot of locals, which was super nice. Good breakfast and fair prices.

I asked them to clean again when I came as it was an empty bottle and cigarette butt under the bed. They said yes, but 2 days later when I checked out it was still there. The rat-trap by the bed wasn't really assuring. Overpriced menu — luckily you can go 40 m on the beach to more normal prices Most of the cabins are tiny about 5 m2 and with canvas wall, not the best for security. I was there some years ago. They have expanded, but not improved much — except for getting a new generator

The bungalows are very basic and not much more than a place to sleep. We only got one towel for two people. It could definitely be cleaner as well. So all in all very basic accommodation. The shared toilets and showers could be more frequently cleaned as well. We forgot our torch in our room when we checked out, but despite us realising very soon after - no one could find it…

The outdoor facilities are perfect, lovely pool, convenient location to catch transport to Dar, great included breakfast and kind staff. We ended up booking 2 additional nights.

The sunlougers and sun chairs cushions were either missing or badly ripped, making them very uncomfortable. Some of the bar staff were rude and unattentive. The pool needs a good clean.

Some staff gave good service. The room and toilets were clean. It is right on the beach.
