I stayed in the new cottage. It's a new comfortable cottage with private bathroom. It had everything that I needed, and it was quiet and secluded. I loved it. Also everyone was helpful and friendly.

I stayed here for the duration of my internship at a school in Moshi and the whole experience would not have been half as good if I had stayed anywhere else. Darlie and her team made my stay absolutely wonderful and special. The whole team is like a little family that they made me feel part of for a little while. First of all, the rooms and bathroom were always clean, breakfast was tasty end even though I sometimes could first eat breakfast around noon, they always made it possible. Everyone was always very friendly and helpful and I generally just felt at home here. If I needed help with anything like organising a trip for the weekend, or just need help with a doctors appointment – Darlie was always ready to help, get good and fair prices and never made me feel like a burden for asking. And if it wasn't her directly, someone else from the team was always available. They even took the time to show me around town or come with me if I was looking for something specific which I didn‘t know where to get. Other than that I loved all the rooms and you can really see all the effort that is being made to ensure every guest has a wonderful stay. I really did not want to leave and if I could have, I would have stayed so much longer!

Amazing stay! Everything was more than perfect. It is well located, clean, calm and peaceful. The host arranged my transportation from airport to the accommodation without any problems. The breakfast is delicious. They can help you order from other near by restaurants for lunch and dinner. The host is amazing, sweet, will give you advice on anything and check if you are ok everyday. It was really helpful for me to first arrive here as a female traveler and always felt safe. I will be back. Thank you so much for making this stay wonderful

Mkoani Homestay is an exceptional place to stay. The rooms are beautiful, the garden is a place of calm, the fruit at breakfast is lovely. We really loved this place! Dee is a fantastic host and made sure we had the best possible experience. We booked very last minute but Dee was super flexible and helped us with the transport as well as with a medical issue of my friend. The place itself is very beautiful and the rooms were nice and cozy. Breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely garden! Highly recommend this place!

The place and rooms are prepared with love. Darlie is an excellent host, attentive and caring. She knows best advices what to do in Moshi and is very helpful with all questions. She made my stay perfect! It was so nice to meet her friends and spending time together. Also the stuff is very lovely. I loved the food which they prepared and the garden is gorgeous to hang out. The bed was perfect for me, I slept super good and even my room wasn't hot, there is a fan. Thank you, Darlie.

Dee is an exceptional host! Felt welcomed and at home from the minute we arrived. She creates a very warm atmosphere where we felt comfortable chilling in the common areas. She helped us arrange transport and a village walking tour! We were sad to leave so soon. Comfy room with a good fan. All parts of the house were very clean and the garden is gorgeous. We had home-cooked dinner here one night and it blew us away and was very romantic with candlelight in the garden. Dee has a great community in town as well!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The host is exceptional! D helped us with arranging the transfers, helped with different requests. That was fantastic ) We were staying in the room with private bathroom. the room had all we needed (toiletries etc, towels..). The room itself was not big, but it was comfortable for 2 people. The bed was very comfy, we slept well). I liked that area was quiet and green. There are nice cafes and restaurants close by, with tasty food and reasonable prices. whenever you need a taxi to city center, the host can arrange a tuk-tuk or a car.

Wooow, our stay was made fantastic because of our host Dee. She made us feel so at home, we had a very warm welcome. Our room was sooo beautifully decorated because of our honeymoon with rose petals, even delicious champagne and a self made small painting!! During our stay she went into town with us, arranged a small town tour, we even played uno with her and her friend/niece, she last minute arranged a sunset view of Kili. We had delicious dinner at the homestay with a bonfire afterwards. When she heard I got a new job she even bought cake for breakfast. Just wow, this was the friendliest and warmest experience ever in a homestay! Thank you so much! Also super nice, the homestay has a tuktuk driver, that easily and safely picks you up for a good price.

The property is a little far from town so best to take a tuk tuk. Luckily this is relatively cheap and easy to do.

Very peaceful stay with Dee. Comfortable room and stylish space. Delicious chai tea with complementary breakfast. We had a lovely time talking with Dee and she was generous enough to spend her time spontaneously cooking with us one evening. She was very helpful to arrange local tours and rides to and from the property.
