The level of service and care from the staff and the manager of the hotel is exceptional. Mr Mahandesh goes above and beyond to help his guests have the perfect stay and feel at home in the hotel. For people not insisting on staying by the beach, the location is good, about 15-20 min walk to the closest beach, 6ish minutes walk to the main road with shops. Otherwise the place is clean and comfortable and the hotel also features a reasonably priced restaurant so one doesn't need to go out to look for food. Definitely recommend and would stay again! The property also has a generator and a good wifi - good enough to support e.g. teams calls.

Everything! This place is a hidden gem. The owner staff can't do enough they treat u like family. Nothing is a problem go out there way to make your stay unreal. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in nungwi. The pool is spotless as is the rooms massive and so clean. Loved every second of this place. Highly recommend this. 👌 its more what I expected and better I loved ut prob one best hitels I've ever stayed in. Owner should be so proud and his amazing staff. Food by pileda and massage by Esther I loved it. 😍 mahantesh the owner is a special host.

The road leading up to the property was awful which meant it took taxis 5x as long as it would take for a normal road.

It’s not their fault but the roads getting there are really rough so make sure you have a good taxi driver etc

It was really nice at the price point, the staff are all really lovely and the owner was super helpful booking taxis etc. the room was clean and had no issues. They had a backup generator so when the electricity was down they were able to fix it quite quickly. Overall it was great for what I paid, would def come back!

The Start was not so good because the Manager called us and told us that we have to stay at another hotel for the first night because other guests stayed longer (Problem with the flight). In the other Hotel the room was not so comfortable so it was a downgrade (for 1 night ok), but the staff and food was good. Sometimes the Manager doesn't talk so friendly with his staff but we know this from other accomondation as well. The road to the Resort was not good but it was like all other roads there. So it's better to take a driver/taxi and not to rent a car, also because a lot of streets in Zanzibar aren't good. The matress/bed were a little hard but was okay.

The staff was very helpful and organized us a cheap transportation and anything we needed. You can wash your laundry there. The Manager is always interested that the guests feel good. My Phone got in contact with oceanwater and he helped me a lot to get it repaired, also when we already were in stonetown. The room was clean, the AC good and if you want they clean the room everyday and change the bedsheets. The food in the Restaurant was good. You can eat a lot of fruits, italian and indian food. The Pool was clean.

Very friendly staff and owner. Rich and tasty breakfasts. You can order lunch/dinner on site for a reasonable price - tasty and solid portions :) The place is located about a 10-minute walk from the beautiful beach. The room is spacious and tidy, cleaned every day. Good internet, enough to work remotely from the hotel. They have a generator, so there is no problem with lack of electricity. I recommend this hotel!

A lovely, clean hotel located less than 10 minutes from a beautiful beach and a short walk from the centre of Nungwi. The family room was very spacious with a well equipped kitchenette and a smart TV. An extensive menu of food could be cooked to order from the hotel’s restaurant. The host personally ensured we had everything we needed and all of the staff were so attentive and friendly. - they even offered to walk us into town on our first day and walk us at night in the dark. The breakfast of fruit, pancakes, eggs, toast and fresh juice was served every morning and the room was cleaned and bedsheets and towels changed daily. We really enjoyed relaxing in the pool area. We cannot fault this hotel at all - thank you for a wonderful stay!

Zero complaints

Amazing. The owner, Mahanthes, and the staff were incredible. So friendly and very helpful. They really make you feel comfortable during your stay. The food is fantastic and well priced. The pool is nice and clean and a wonderful treat during the hot days. The location is perfect. It's just a short walk to the beach or town but also far enough away to offer peace and quiet. I really loved my time here and would definitely go back. Highly recommend.

Great hospitality of the staff and the Manager. They were highly concerned to make my stay as perfect as possible. The room I had was really large and all the time silent during night. Breakfast was delicious, rich and healthy with selected fruits and juice. I highly recommend this hotel, especially in view of the valuable for money it's a great deal!

Just perfect

The hotel is very new and clean. Warm water and electricity are always available. Very good WiFi. It is only 5 min walk to beach. The local market is very close. The pool is very clean and nice to swim. We had family suite with air conditioning and was really big and cool inside 😄 The stuff is very very nice, always helpful. Each wish was fulfilled. The food at the hotel is great. The ladies in the kitchen are mazing and can cook everything possible. My son was eating only in the hotel and was resting all day to get back and get his favourite food :)) The chief of the hotel is very knowledgeable and very friendly. He organised for us several trips, got local food and adviced best possible options. Our stay was just perfect 😊😊😊

The location was perfect. Not too much from the beach, but just perfect away from all the tourists. The breakfast was good. Every morning you get fresh fruits. The staff and the owner absolutely lovely people. If I’m to visit Zanz again definitely coming back! 10000 out of 10!!!
