Perfect hotel and amazing stuff

It's a bit far from arusha/moshi, so if you need to get into town frequently, this is not the best location. But it is very convenient to get to the airport!

Very close to the airport, shuttle included. My girlfriend was sick and our flight was late in the afternoon the next day, so she was allowed to stay in bed until our shuttle to the airport left. Very kind, great service!

When I stayed for the first time. water was leaking from the faucet, which was a bit dissapointing. But for the second time, I did not have any problem.

Location was very good to get to/from Airport. Free shuttle was accurate on time. Still the lodge was very quiet and relaxing.

It's located about 20 minutes from JRO. It's a nice lodge after/before your long flight from/to JRO. They provide free shuttle to/from JRO. The room is clean and breakfast was good. Yumiko Japan

The bathrooms need renovation.

We loved the king size bed that looked renovated and the smiley staff. The location was ideal and close to Kilimanjaro Airport. We were also offered free shuttle transport.

Overpriced for what it is

We took the hotel initially for its proximity to the airport but found it really nice. The staff is very helpful and just amazing. The food quality is very nice. We had a very peaceful night thanks to the beds quality.

Beautiful location and lovely grounds. Large swimming pool. Very peaceful place😊 Rooms are spacious and very comfortable with a patio outside. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Only a 10 minute ride to the airport. Private driver available to take you to the airport.

I stayed twice in one week. First time booked by booking.com, I had a great room, very confortable bed, excellent facilities. Second time it was booked through the safari agency: a different room with unconfortable bed, they added a matress to make it soft which was very unconfy, broken mosquito nets at the windows.. on the good side, the staff is always very helpful, beautifully decorated stylish hotel with a nice garden. It is much more then a standard airport hotel.

The staff and the ambiance of Airport Planet Lodge are both lovely. Relaxed atmosphere, beautiful grounds, comfortable clean rooms, great food with outdoor dining available and such kind, friendly staff! I stayed here on 2 separate occasions and highly recommend it to others.

I don't recall any dislikes.

Hotel shuttle picked us up - comfortable drive to the hotel. Very friendly helpful staff. Dinner was simple but very good. Breakfast was good - quantity and quality. As we had a late flight we were given a late checkout and we were able to wait around the very well kept pool until our departure. Once again a very comfortable trip to the airport. Front desk was very helpful on checkout when there was a glitch with my credit card.

Everything was great.

-The staff were amazing and so friendly. -The food was very good. -The staff in the spa were very skilled in massage. We had a room where the hot water was not working and the staff came immediately to check and changed us to a new room without us even asking.

We loved our stay at the Airport Planet Lodge. The close proximity to JRO and the complimentary hotel shuttle are easy selling points that make it a perfect place to overnight before/after a flight. The property is beautiful, from the foliage to the pool to the outdoor breakfast area. The rooms are spacious, charming, and clean with beds that are both large and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was excellent…including the wood-fired pizza which was surprisingly good. We would definitely stay here again!

I had zero complaints

The first thing you notice as you enter is how cozy it is. The staff greet you with wet towels and a cold drink. The villas are adorable and well-appointed. The WiFi is strong throughout the property. The food and beverage options were really good both for dinner and for breakfast. Strolling the property, you can read the signs for all the fruit trees (or you can use your nose), smelled great. The staff was really accommodating and friendly. From the airport pickup to our departure. My only regret was not booking for longer.

Mix up about the taxi they should have booked for us from the airport which hadn’t been booked - there were plenty available so we picked one up with barely 10 mins delay

Close to airport, an oasis of calm from the welcome drink to the breakfast box as we left at 4.30am. beautifully clean, calm, well furnished and equipped rooms, lovely pool, good value spa, nice food and drink at fair prices, and lovely staff - special thanks to Glory for my manicure!

The fan in the bathroom turns on automatically when you walk in, even if lights are off.. and it is very loud! If I stayed not alone, that would have been very disturbing at night. Also I woke up in the middle of the night to someone having calls on speaker in the common area...

Great relaxing place near the airport. A bit pricy but you get a nice pool and a restaurant, plus a free shuttle to the airport. The staff was really nice and attentive!

While staff told me what breakfast hours were, they didn't say breakfast was included so I missed it. I dashed in to grab some items before boarding transport to the airport and staff was very helpful in packaging some things for me.

The room was very comfortable and the grounds nicely landscaped and maintained. We enjoyed a beer sitting outside the patio adjacent to our room.

There was nothing I disliked

I stayed here alone as a woman and felt completely safe the staff were really lovely. Staff were accommodating at breakfast, really welcoming and kind Super clean room I only stayed for one night so didn’t make use of the hotel much but it was enjoyable stay Location is amazing super close to the airport and they have a free shuttle There is another hotel close by which I stayed at too for a night which was awful and so unclean. I wish I had booked this hotel again instead, so so much nicer
