The place looks totally different to the pictures, when I booked. The owner promised me, he will make a big change, so I hope he is doing! Thats why I gave this rating.

The place is not nice until II was there. Ali the host took me straight away in his hotel. So I was not staying in this pace!! If you have any problems just talk to the host, he is really helpfull!

I didn’t stay in this place. I spent a lot of time to find it. It wasn’t there ,were supposed to be. Localisation on the booking was wrong , and information was it is 400 metres from Nungwi beach. I topped up my phone and I called for phone number from booking. I get information that this number not exist. I chose this object because I looked for something close to ocean. I was so surprised when after searching ,Google maps showed me different location around 1500 meters from the beach. I found this place , I called for another number from google. Some women picked up the phone and said we need to wait for someone who came open the gate. When we waited we realised that some pictures also are fake. We decided don’t stay there , because this what we expected from the picture and description wasn’t true. When the men came we told him we want to resigned because all of this. He didn’t know English and he didn’t understand. We left and searched new accommodation. I contacted straight away with booking customers service and talked with them about all of this. Unfortunately I get back only 20 % my payment. Customer service decided they cannot give my money back because reservation was non-refundable. They can do this only if saba saba home stay agree for it. They contacted with them. Owner not agree cancel my reservation free of charge. They also said that location on booking it’s correct. I see now they deleted some pictures and information about how far it’s the beach, but still same wrong location. There isn’t reception or bungalows or garden. I don’t know how look house inside. I don’t recommend this place. I don’t trust people when they write not true.

Excellent choice at a reasonable price. Very clean and tidy with a focus on increased security. The garden of the accommodation is ideal to relax. Lot of local shops and restaurants around, as it is located next to the main road. The beach is less than 15 minutes walking distance.

SCAM. We booked: double room with balcony, garden view, few min from the beach location. We arrived to the location provided on booking.com. It appeared to be place called “Kivulini Garden”. They told us we will stay here one night because there is no electric at our place and tomorrow they are going to move us to different location. (which was very confusing). Room that we stayed in for that night fit the description of our booking: balcony and garden view, location near the beach. Room itself fit the picture of the room that we have booked. Next day we had to pack, they put us in the car and took us to a totally different location, far away from the the booked location, far away from the beach. They left us at some abandoned horrible shared house with creepy abandoned rooms. There were no electric most of the time, no water, no flashing toilet. When we had water it was orange colour. We did not even know where we were, as location of our booked hotel/accommodation was in totally different place where we stayed for the first night. We were stuck outside for few hours as we couldn’t open rusty gates. No one would answer the phone or my messages. I kept asking for the address so we can get a taxi or know where we were. They would not reply. Our room stank of sewage so bad, and so our clothes. There were no ventilation, green mouldy walls. Sickening smell. I traveled with child. These were unacceptable conditions to live in and not what we have booked! On the occasion where we had no water again and I got through to the “hosts”, they told me if I’m not happy I should just get out. (we have paid for 9 nights). Snd if I want to be moved to location I have originally booked I have to pay extra! double the money. I’ve complained to booking.com saying we were brought to a different location. Next day they brought someone else in, who got scammed just like us and was confused as to where he was.

Wrong location on the map, it took me a very long time to find the place. The description is wrong, I didn't have a balcony, neither any view. It was written breakfast included then they said it was not included, I had to insist then I had to walk more than 15 minutes to get the breakfast, so it was very far. I asked for a taxi, they wanted to make me pay twice the price I found in the street. The shower is warm for less than 2 minutes. I was stuck outside during the night because the key didn't open the front door.
