How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Tell me you're a foreigner, so you're charged an extra UAH 350 per night, and you're staying alone, so there's also only one free bottle of water provided per day
The location is great, on a pedestrian street with several restaurants within 2 minutes of the door! The room was clean

well , it was strange because the main entrance is from the street where no cars can go , so the navigator takes you to the parking around the block, you might be confused.
actually it is a fabulous property , very modern , fashionable, with really artistic and creative design. Service is very good and professional and rooms are large , clean , and they just got everything you need and it works. The restaurant is also very charming , they have this smoking balcony, with seating places. But the big plus of this hotel is the location. It is just in the middle of everything in this town , resturants, bars , coffie shops art expositions. one step outside and you are there.

My room was next to a driveway for the postal office. So there was a lot of truck activity and noise. 2nd floor my window was directly across from the front door.
Modern beautiful decor. Great location center of city. Next to park and my favorite restaurants.

Room was excellent clean and lots of room. Staff extremally helpful an d polite. Position is excellent for visiting the city. nice modern facilities. this is not the first time I have stayed in this hotel and I am very satisfied, will continue to use this hotel in the future.

Excellent stay. The staff were incredibly friendly even though we didn't speak the language. The breakfast was delicious and included in the price. The room was well-kept, large, and comfortable to sleep in after a 12 hour drive!

Annoying automated lights in the entrance hall, which start by detecting presence when you enter it, but it shut off after a while even you're still in the area. Sauna room (as part of the bathroom) heater not working.
Private parking inside inner courtyard (for free), breakfast is "a la carte", separate toilet and bathroom, large room.

Hi, the location is perfect, the staff is very professional and nice. The room and the hotel are exceptionally clean and we'll appointed. There a many nice touches that make you feel really comfortable: heated floors in shower rooms, monogrammed towels, good quality robes. There is very convenient parking in the hotel courtyard. We were very pleased with this hotel and definitely will stay at Arena again when in Khmelnitsky. Thank you!

Not that I did't like per se, but breakfasts could be better considering price range for this hotel

This hotel has different options of comfortable and very clean rooms. everything you need is just few steps outside the lobby. shopping stores, atm bank machine, pharmacy, and restaurants. free wifi and safe free private parking also available in the hotel

In our room we could hear extremely loud noises from the AC system. There was screeching and cracking, and loud white noise. They occurred randomly, through the day and night, regardless of whether the AC system was turned on or off. I woke up every time it happened, which was a number of times during the night.
Location was great, it’s right in the city center. Breakfast was decent. The place was clean and the water was hot and with good pressure.

We stayed at arena in May and had a really bad experience with dinner. The waitress was trying very hard to serve us but she was the only person serving. Dishes all arrived at strange times. i.e not all starters arrived and then main courses started to arrive. Then, when we were finished eating another main course arrived!
Breakfast was good. Really nice dining room. Comfortable bed.
