We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

BulgariaThis hotel could not fulfill its basic purpose, which is to allow for a good night's rest. The customers in the neighboring room were very noisy, shouting all night. Several calls to the reception did not help solve the problem. The only explanation offered was that they were in their right to make noise but the problem is that the walls are too thin and lack sound proofing. In the end, at around 3 am, I was offered to move to another room further away from the noise. It was some kind of a solution, but not comfortable and half the night was wasted. Another problem with this hotel was overcharging at check in. They overcharged the tourist tax for my colleague who was a Ukrainian citizen because the booking was in my name and also charged for double occupancy although I was alone. For both, their excuse was that the reservation was already done though Booking.com and did not return the money. Moreover, considering that they do not offer breakfast, the double occupancy charge made even less sense.
This hotel does not offer breakfast. The room was quite spacious and comfortable.

United KingdomThe drain in the shower was broken. The hotel hasn't changed the room. They have tried to fixed it but it was half a job. Also, it meant we had someone in our room on Sunday morning for 3 hours going in and out in work boots without taking them off. The hotel didn't think that the carpet needs cleaning afterwards.
Location is good. The reception was very helpful but limited with the service they can provide. The room is big and comfortable.

UkraineThe staff and policies could have been better. Even if the room is ready early, the hold strictly to the policy of no early check-in, not even a minute early! They also won't clean the room unless specifically you place the sign on the door to clean the room (I know every hotel has such signs, but I've never been at a hotel that requires them; in fact, sometimes I've been at hotels that mistake the sign for Do Not Disturb and won't clean the room). The wifi was terrible, needing to reconnect every 10-15 minutes, which makes it impossible to work remotely, have a video call, or stream shows to watch. The restaurant is severely understaffed, so expect to spend 1-2 hours for breakfast or other meals. My first morning, I waited 20 minutes to get the menu, another 20 minutes to have my order taken, and then each dish was brought separately about 10 minutes apart even though there were only 5 customers in the whole restaurant. Dinner, when I was the only customer, took over an hour for the food to come after I placed the order, and it took about 30 minutes to get the check to pay. Checking in, having my room cleaned, and being served in the restaurant all had major problems, clearly not a customer-focused business. I won't stay at this unfriendly and expensive hotel again.
This is a luxury hotel—although in a very retro '80s style—not far from the city center. I liked the little extras like free water, coffee, and tea in the room, as well as tourist materials. The room and bed were comfortable.

Ireland1. Receptionist desk is right in front of the lift, when i come and go, they must talk to me! as if i am being stalked not in a hotel! 2. Electricity gets cut a lot, i stayed 2 hours without electricity which includes hot water! 3. Receptionist impolite towards my girlfriend, she stayed one night with me, he came rushing to me when i was going out with her, telling me "you must pay for the 'girl' "! The "girl"! he jumped with his imagination that every female that can be with a man in the hotel must be a bad girl! and that was in front of her, didn't say "lady" didn't say "madame", no "girl". 4. strange couch in the room, i understand the owner wants to force his culture and traditions. but at least leave a book or a leaflet showing how to sit on such a strange couch! 5. I was having a nap in the afternoon, i suddenly found some knocking then without even waiting, i found the door of my room opening and the receptionist barging into the room and she said oh oh sorry we didn't know you were here! That was extremely unacceptable! I have never experienced such a breach to my privacy in a hotel in such a manner!
