Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomOn our last night, around 4.30am there were about 7 snow ploughs working outside the hotel and on the square outside St Sophia. There was so much noise it woke me up! They made such a racket I couldn't get back to sleep until they finished about an hour later.
We enjoyed the cathedral view which we had booked and the location of the hotel was excellent to get to St Sophia and St Michael, as well as the modern concorde plaza which was down the hill. Although our booking was room and breakfast, we had to leave early the first day so we were unable to go to the restaurant. Instead we asked that breakfast be delivered to our room for when we returned. This request was handled by room service and it was very tasty. We also had two evening meals in the hotel restaurant Asia Grill which were excellent.

Stayed at Hyatt for 7 days. All the staff from the door men, receptionist, restaurant, leisure Center were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the daily house keeping did a great job. Breakfast was excellent with great choice, Asia restaurant was not that expensive in comparison to some of the restaurants we eat in during the week, Quality of the food was very good and staff are very attentive. We brought euros and exchanged these in the hotel currency exchange which when compared to using credit card worked out to be approx the same when all credit card chargers where taken into account. We found Elite Taxi service very good, price given on the phone when booking, type and colour of taxi given, always arrived within 5/10 minutes. Some great restaurants around, Charlotte, Catch, Frou Frou, Redkayaptitsa, Steakhouse.

The staff at reception were very helpful! I needed to mail something to my home county and this was arranged in a matter of minutes. Also, the breakfasts are wonderful! The rooms are nice, but a bit bland, but this is forgivable.

NorwayI arrived 2 days after my wife, and at 4am because my luggage was lost at the airport. At check in, the staff wanted proof of my booking, without even looking at my passport. I had to pull out correspondence I’ve had with the hotel, and I was asked to wake up my wife in the middle of the night to confirm who I was. I got really frustrated, and the they checked my passport. No apologies, nothing. They gave me a keycard, I went up and the card didn’t work. My wife got up to let me in. This is pretty poor customer service at a five star luxury hotel. Also, I found the hotel not to be super fresh. Outdated furniture. Worn paint on chairs and tables. Restaurant should not make burgers. Driest thing ever.
Big and no crowds. Nice gym and great pool area. Great Asian restaurant. World class oysters!

They aim to please😍 A true 5 star hotel ! Loved the spacious entrance of the hotel. The quick service of employees. Elevators are super fast and wide. Room was clean and spacious with view.
