There were some hair (presumably from a dog or a cat) on the fleece blanket, the loud work of an automatic air fresher in the bathroom scared at night.

Breathtaking view from the balcony, well-equipped kitchen in the common area, possibility to order the breakfast, big bathroom, New Year's lights on the balcony and the other buildings of the complex, a nice restaurant and traditional sauna facilities on the territory, in 15 minutes walk from the train station.

It was just a minor thing, but the hair dryer didn't work very well.

It was my second time staying at Khatky na Penkakh, and it was just as good as the first. I simply love the location. The view is breathtaking. And I love the little wooden houses the guests stay in. They match the surroundings perfectly. The facilities are fine. They've got everything a traveller needs, including a shower, a comfortable bed, and even a pool further up the slope (I didn't use it but I saw other guests clearly enjoying themselves). You can order breakfast (they have a number of simple but tasty dishes to choose from), and they have good coffee, which is very important.

The shower box in our room wasn't steady. It actually wobbled when I was getting out, which can be dangerous. Other than that, everything was great.

I loved the view. The hotel is perched on a hill, from which you can see all of Vorokhta and the beautiful mountains beyond. And there's a forest just a couple hundred meters away. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the rooms were comfortable. Ours had a balcony, which afforded a nice view of the premises and the forest. We ordered breakfast, and it was quite good, including the coffee. For those who don't want to go down into the town in search of food, there's a restaurant close by. But my absolute favourite thing about this place were a dozen extremely cute, and very friendly, cats. They all live on the premises and they know that visitors can be persuaded to part with their food :)

The rooms were not very clean, but it wasn’t critical.

Excellent view and location! Sauna and spa on the territory. Warm inside the house and there was everything needed for a few-days-stay. Very nice personal. Easy to reach by car, but we were on foot with luggage so Orest gave us a ride to the apartment!!

All was fine! Please, mind the facilities are located on a small hill (still very close to the town center and railway station). It may be complicated to get there for the people with disabilities.

It is my fourth or fifth visit to Khatky na Penkakh guest house. Every time I stay there either with my family with kids or with my friends I enjoy the hosts' absolute hospitality and smiles. Our room had a balcony this time with fantastic views over the mount of Magura. It was so charming especially in the sparkling mornings and at nights, when miriads of stars could be seen. A small kitchennete was shared with neighbors. Also, we liked it very much to dine at the hosts' family restaurant just 200 m above the guest house facilities. AMAZING! That's the word! Can't wait I am back to Khatky!!! Dyakuyu, Orest, Oleksandra, Oksana, Yura ta Mykola!!! You are the BEST!!!

The complex is still under construction, so a lot of noise from builders. And a crazy tractor driver who did his work until late night.

The restaurant is great - relatively cheap and the food is so tasty.

Very very dirty, including cockroaches.. :( Fair to mention that the owner offered to clean the house while we were out, but it should be cleaned before guests arrive and not after their complaints. The location is also not so convenient. Taxi from the center costs around 150-200 UAH as the road is very bad and taxi drivers are not very happy to drive there.

The view from the window is great. Pets are allowed and there's an entertainment for them included (cockroach hunting).
