Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe breakfast could be a lot better. I just don't think the cooking staff put much effort into preparing meals for their clients. The food was very bland; needed a lot more seasoning.
The value for the room is exceptional. The staff were very helpful; on the day I left I missed my bus ride back to Bucharest; they went out of their way to help me get another bus ticket. They called the bus company to find out what happened and helped me to ensure that would not happen again. I am a American and cannot speak Russian; they were a huge help for me.

HungaryThe place is a bit worn around the edges but it's still a great option.
London Hotel is a really great place to stay in an excellent location. Most sights in the downtown are accessible within 15 minutes on foot. The room was clean and comfortable, equipped with all necessary amenities. Wifi is available, breakfast is plentiful, rates are reasonable. The welcome was really friendly, cards are accepted and everyone I met spoke really good English.

Bosnia and HerzegovinaI got the room on the last floor and i could hear ventilation working on the roof non-stop. Luckily i was tired. The bed and pillows could be updated-i did get a message prior to arriving that they offer variety of pillows-i couldn’t be bothered asking for different
Staff is the face of hotel and London hotel has very nice and hospitable staff! They were trying to help in any way possible and be of use… location is very good -central. For me it was priority to have safe parking-this is not easy to find in city center. London hotel has parking area behind hotel, on the street, that is protected with some chain i think. Not what i had in mind but it served me well. I left early and was provided with very nice and generous lunch box. Overall-really good service and as said, very nice and helpful staff!!!

United StatesMy electrical converter would only work in one outlet. That outlet was behind the stereo under the very low ceiling (703). I don't know what was different but it would not stay in place in any other outlet.
The breakfast was wonderful and all of the staff were great! The room was very nice, good housekeeping.
