How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything was great except that the elevator was not working during our stay but the staff proposed us their help and everything went well
One of the best hotels in Lviv. Very kind staff members and the service was fantastic. They helped us a lot when we had some plan changes - They tried their best to get us another room in the hotel for unplanned extended days.. The room was clean, big and bright - The view on the Rynok Square was adorable. A big thank you to the staff and the cleaning team!

The room could have been cleaner, especially the floor. The hotel is currently being updated, so you should expect minor dust and noises.
Great location, and amazing stuff, ready to help you with anything you need. We enjoyed our stay there, starting with nice rooms and tasty breakfasts. Everything you need is on the same street, all the restaurants and places of interest. Room service was good.

Theres no kettle in the room, would be nice if you could add it to the list of your facilities.

Not a problem for us but could be for others: Rooms on 4th floor without lift. Also, the water in the shower was not really hot but warm enough.
Great location, nice room, friendly staff and excellent breakfast.

Location is fantastic,cousy stylish room,was upgraded when extended for extra night.Tasty breakfast,very accommodative stuff .The only cons is that there is no Lyft.But that is historical building.And no mini bar in the room to store take away dinner. Absolutely loved my choice of Oysters and Bubbles/

It’s very noisy in the mornings due to people inside the building. Also, you can hear people talking in the room next to you. Very thin pillows.

- Breakfast not a buffet, but is to be ordered from the kitchen. Delicious, but slower, so may interfere with tourist schedule. It wasn't made clear during the booking, so I was surprised. Probably my own fault though, but keep it in mind when making your itinerary. - No elevator, but what can you do in an old building 🤷♀️
- Beautiful location and the view of the Old Town centre, yet still quiet, away from all the night life noise. - Clean comfortable beds with separate comforters for each sleeper, which is important to me. - Personnel is very attentive and polite. - Good food and a welcoming glass of sparkling.

The wifi wasn't very strong, but it didn't matter during this quick weekend trip; it would have been a problem if I was on a usual longer trip where I would need to work remotely online from my room.
I have stayed in a different room every time I've been in this hotel, and this one on the top floor was amazing with skylight and interesting floorplan. As usual, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was convenient and delicious.

The only thing that I miss when staying at this hotel is a mini fridge in the room. I'm never able to prepare my own food, take home leftovers from restaurants, or keep cold drinks (juice, water, etc.) in my room.
I often stay at this hotel when I visit Lviv. The location is ideal, and the rooms are modern and beautiful. The breakfast in the first-floor restaurant is convenient and delicious. I liked that they also gave me vouchers on check-in for champagne or lemonade.

However, please note that if you're with children or heavy bags that there is no elevator in the hotel (it's quite obvious though as none of the Lviv city center buildings have that). Also, if you are a light sleeper, city center is noisy even in the night and you can't just ignore that. There is also some renovations going on in the building next to the hotel, so it might be noisy a bit from workers too.
The location is awesome, the heart of the Lviv itself :) It's perfect for walking from there anywhere, enjoying meals on the terrace and overall vibe of the place. Breakfasts are cool and tasty, both meat, fish and vegetarian options available. Room was cozy and clean and staff is friendly too. Hotel also has an easy-access and clean shelter on the lowest floor.

The room did not have a refrigerator and did not have a kettle, although it was available at the reception. No elevator - but it is to be expected when the room is in the historic location.
Very clean! Helpful staff. Powerful AC. Lots of character of the building. Location! the room was quiet too despite location.
