It was a home away from home. The food was alway very good. The beach view from the room was amazing. I never had a dull moment staying here. Thanks to everyone specially Ola for always serving tasty meals. 😊

The staff was really friendly and helpful! Tania, Natalia, Maria and the sir (sorry, I don’t know the name) made us feel comfortable since our arrival. Always with a smile and willing to help you. The position is amazing, you can see the the see from your room and enjoy a meal to the restaurant.

Firstly room is not soundproofed and you can hear snoring of your neighbours. Dirty blanket, some hair on sheets, broken shower doors and and mildew on the walls and only a bit of toilet paper 🧻 super uncomfortable mattress, your will not say thank you

Great location next to sea, not that far from center. Sea view from the window and clean towels☺️

This place is more like a motel than a hotel. NO IDEA WHO OR HOW THEY ARE RATED AS A 4* HOTEL. I HAVE STAYED IN FAR SUPERIOR 1 STAR HOTELS I visited out of season and during war times. (Nov - Dec 2023) The room I stayed in - 23 upper room with balcony Floor were not swept, were dusty and sandy, thick dust under bed, and I found a 50uah note (result). Dust on EVERY surface. Also several cobwebs in corners and along window. Pvc flooring in bad state (broken sharp edges) so I covered that area with the surplus duvet. Bathroom area - Fixtures and fittings were broken. Toilet roll holder hanging off the wall by a thread, shower head holder on wall broken so hand to use one hand to hold the shower while showering. On the plus side, towels were clean, soft and of sufficient size. If you haven't hired a car then getting anywhere has to be done by walking. This motel is at the bottom of a hill. Closest public transport is ½mile away and not very frequent. Cable car station short walk away however at time of visiting they were not operational and looking at them and access I'd say not been operational for quite some time, looked like an abandoned fair ground ride. The palm hotel is in need of maintenance to say the least, and price wise....... Well you are paying for sea view and the beach being literally on the door step. You are not paying for service, facilities or comfort. They advertise Free WiFi, but trying to get them to part with the WiFi password we'll forget it. They also only speak Ukraine or Russian NO OTHER LANGUAGES SPOKEN. Google translate conversation mode using your mobile phone is a nightmare due very poor 2G/3G phone signal, despite there being a mobile phone mast very close by. Out of season I paid equivalent to £120 for 6 nights given what I experienced I think I was over charged by at least 40%, dread to think what they charge during main season for what they offer and the poor quality of the rooms and facilities

Absolutely great if you want Sea views as this place is on the beach. Walk out of your room straight onto the sand. I visited out of season and during war times. (Nov - Dec 2023) The room I stayed in - 23 upper room with balcony) had great view of the beach and black sea. Size of room was adequate and was warm. Double glazed windows, king size bed, small fridge bedside tables chest drawers wall mounted tv and table with 2 chairs. TV has limited channels and all available channels are Ukrainian. No option for international channels.

The room was very dirty and smell like mold. Then the toilet leaked, my bathroom was constantly flooded. it was an unpleasant experience

Everything, especially hosts that lie about everything. They didn't put sheet onto the blanket and told to do that by ourselves. Property was very dirty, walls was covered by strange food-like mud, furniture was in a poor state and covered with mud, bathroom was covered with mold, mud and rust, toilet paper weren't refilled, temperature in the room was quite low and there was a smell of mold. On every mention that something isn't right hosts just said that everything could be fixed and I think that they are just to lame to do anything right. After I ask to contact the manager about cancelling booking hosts told that they cannot do that because manager don't want to talk about that and they cannot return me money however we were in the hotel just one hour! So we decided just to move out next day to another hotel and hosts just canceled booking after that. To sum up we were here one day from planned two, payed for two and second day weren't refunded - they just cancelled entire booking. Poor service with poor minded hosts. It's pity and shame. Never again as they say and won't recommend it to anybody.

Nothing, very bad service, pity hosts and poor property state.
