The location of Soho Hotel is very convenient because it is incorporated in a huge shopping complex and in your absolute reach of restaurants, cafes, stores and so on. As for the location of the hotel in my opinion called Catherine Boulevard (I'm the first time in Dnepr can be wrong), the pre-New Year's decoration is above all praise, very beautiful and atmospheric. As for breakfast, I can say that I ordered cheesecakes, and they were delicious.

The rooms are very small 23 sqm and 30 sqm, located on the second floor only. Our room was located above the Soho restaurant which has Karaoke nights from Thursday to Saturday from 8:30 pm- 3:00 am. You can definitely hear the beat. When we complained, the restaurant management said that they will try to keep the noise down, but they can’t deny customer requests during Karaoke nights. Which makes it not ideal, especially when we tried to get some sleep after midnight. However, the biggest problem was the AC in our room. It was very noisy even when turned off. Apparently the hotel has centralized AC system, meaning that if the guest in other room turns on the AC, the air goes through our unit and creates equal amount of noise. The staff tried their best to solve the issue by calling the AC maintenance company and offering us to switch rooms, unfortunately the problem couldn’t be solved and there was equal amount of noise in all rooms. We staid for 9 nights and it was pretty challenging in terms of getting a good night sleep. We couldn’t wait to get back home. It is not a hotel for a long stay.

Hotel is very modern and located in the city center. It has great rooms with new furniture and comfortable beds. Soho restaurant has an excellent verity of food. They offer a mix of European and Asian cuisines. Hotel staff was great too. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. I would really recommend this place if you travel for a couple of days for business.

I would have given this hotel a much higher rating if it were not for the behaviour of the manager after my last night staying in the hotel. Unfortunately they booked a wedding in the hotel restaurant which was directly below my room. I have nothing against weddings, or couples celebrating their happy day but the hotel must have known this well in advance and gave me no warning of this. Now, Ukrainian culture is very rich, very 'spirited' (vodka I think :))), traditional and it is lovely to participate in. If you are in your room above it though it is a a nightmare. The noise which was extremely loud went on from 3pm in the day until 2pm at night. I left and went for dinner at 6pm and when I returned the party had gone up a few gears and was in full swing!!! The night manager was kind but it came late. I complained about the noise several times and then she offered me another room on the other side of the corridor, not directly over the restaurant. However, it was now midnight and within 2 hours the party began to fizzle out!!! The following morning when I saw the manager who checked me in he just smiled and said "sorry" but there was no attempt by the hotel to make any gesture. To be honest, I thought they would have cancelled my bill for the last night as it was pretty clear I could not enjoy my room at all, but no such offer was made. It is a pity because the facilities in the hotel are first class. It is well decorated, has a great gym and spa and the location is perfect. Incidentally I thought for a regional hotel in Dnipro the room prices seem high, but the hotel is clearly a high standard. I will think about whether to stay at this establishment again, purely because of my last night experience and the response of the hotel.
