Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

LithuaniaThere are two things I should probably mention: 1) The bed mattress for sure must be changed. I felt every bloody spring in it, as the upper soft foam layer already worn out completely 2) the central water supply has fluctuations, so when you take a shower, you all the time "play" with water temperature lever to make it "colder or warmer" which is annoying and doesn't allow to 'relax'. Generally, this is not a hotel problem, but in order to workaround this - I would've installed the shower tap with auto-thermostat, maintaining same water temperature irrespective to the water supply in a given moment of time (which is a bit expensive, certainly)..
Very friendly, smiling and supportive Hotel Staff - Ladies at the Reception very nice. All premises and bed clothes were very clean. Room and bathroom are spacious enough. Large ~50" QLED SAMSUNG TV with some local channels (I was watching my own movies over HDMI cable). Nearby restaurant with the "room service" delivery is fully available. The location is a bit remote, but I had a car and it takes about 20 mins to the city center. (Otherwise, taxi is inexpensive in Kiev as well). Sauna and great bathing services are also available in the same building, but their schedule is tight and you should pre-book in advance.

South AfricaI liked it, and even used the hair salon, which was handy. The front desk could have been more and better English speakers. The breakfast was a bit sub par, but nontheless not bad for the overall price.
Breakfast was so-so, maybe a bigger choice would be better. The location for me was nice, because I could visit shopping centres, shops, restaurants and public transport was available within a short distance.

United StatesLow ceilings. I'm 6"7 and I had to duck. Anyone that is tall this Hotel isn't it. Also the rooms are,made out of thin wood. You can hear your neighbors. The ceiling in the room was slanted which is a negative and no light above the mirror.
The food at the restaurant was good, rooms were clean and hot water.

UkraineI did not expect much of the room not the hotel because it was just an overnight stay for a business trip to Kyiv. 1. The very very loud music and the bass kept going all night till 5:00 am., so we barely got a 3 hour sleep throught the whole night. 2. The bass was so loud that the toilet mirror hit the wall at every vibration. I called the reception a few times and she said their is nothing she can do because there is a party in the karaoke bar/nightclub. The ceiling itself was trembling above us. 3. The room is not clean neither the toilet. 4. Dust balls are flying around the room’s floor. 5. The door does not lock. We blocked it using a chair. 6. Breakfast is from 11:00-12:00 at midday as if they just offer free breakfast to lure you in but know that they will not be serving it as most people have breakfast at breakfast times and not at brunch. 7. The WiFi is very slow. 8. The toilet keeps leaking water and its tank refilling all night. 9. Not enough shower gel or shampoo for a 2 people stay. 10. On Booking, the property is a 4-star hotel; however, in reality I am sure it has no stars. 11. They care about their restaurant more than about their hotel rooms. 12. Avoid it. Not family or couple friendly.
The room is cheap compared to others in Kyiv but belive me you are worth the little extra money you will pay to get a stay in a decent hotel.

SwedenReceptionists couldn’t English at all:-( Only one security guy his nam is Ali he could translate:-) Receptionist behavior is really bad . The hotel is like one star hotel but it’s written in the internet 4 stars , oh my Gosh. The Resturant food can’t eat because only fat nothing healthy:-( There is no massager but in the hotel facility is written:-( The doors key should use several times to open the rooms door:-( The public transport is not available in the near only taxi and taxi take 30 minutes to come:-( I will never choose this hotel again:-(
