How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Whereas the apartment itself is great, the equipment could have been better. We had only 2 chairs in the kitchen for 3 people, and no chairs on the balcony. Lack of kitchenware, so your cooking capacity is limited (also I'd prefer bigger mugs). However, all the cons above are pretty minor, and hotel's pros fully compensate for them. The only thing we don't choose for this hotel for winter vacation is the absence of a skiroom. :(
Location is perfect. Great view from windows and balcony. Apartments are spacious and sound proof, cleaned every day. We also liked plenty of storage space (large wardrobes with a lot of shelves, boxes, etc), which made our 1 week stay very comfortable.

the location was a little far from everything. the restaurants and so is the big supermarket was in different direction. it is not a big problem but something to notice i guess.
the room was very big. the bathroom is very nice, very big bedroom. the kitchen and Livingroom was also big. the apartment was clean and was cleaned on daily basis.

The location on the map was difficult to find then we found out the reception area was in a different building across the street a few minutes walking

Problems during check-in, we had two reservations and there were a lot of problems to make Vip skeepasses work and reservation merge to have our key cards working properly, same was on checkout, when we ordered late checkout on check-in day but no one configured our key cards properly and they were successfully locked ahead of time.
Location, spacious apartment, high ceiling, Vip skeepass, good breakfast.

room cleaning were terrible. no water refill at all. no place to keep your skiing staffs you have to go outside to get restaurant need taxi to get skiing routes hotel definitely need renovation
nice location if you would like to be in the center of resort but it’s far from skiing places and you need taxi to get skiing lift. nice restaurant and breakfast. reception staff hold our language and were very pleasant. free of charge ski pass upgrade is very useful

Staff & service were bad: upon arrival late in the evening (for me 12 hours driving) guests should wait outside for 30-60 minutes because of "quartzization". firstly, in reality nothing was done. there should be a special scent after this procedure, but there wasn't. secondly, quartzization even in the hospital lasts 15 min! thirdly, even if someone closes reception for such a long time the guests should be informed in advance about the hours of such procedures and there should be an option where to check-in or at least where to wait. If nobody tells you and its your first time there you will arrive to the hotel and look for the reception. and its not there! its in another building pretty far from the residence. When you will check-out another unpleasant surprise may appear. The staff asks you to call the reception 10 minutes before checkout and they sent a lady to check the room. Very strange but ok. in reality we called 35 minutes and no one responded. I drive to the reception to handle the keys. and instead of apologizes I heard another thing - ref. to the Pets point Room: my room was large but refurbishment is needed. The electric kettle was out of order(burnt). The kitchen corner was smelly. Pets: pets are allowed BUT be careful. I wrote in advance before booking that I want to come with my dog 10 kg. the staff replied yes, sure. extra fee is 300 UAH per day. Pretty expensive in comparison to other hotels of the region. During check-in the guy at reception charged 900 UAH for my 3 days stay and the dog was with me at that moment. When I came to check-out the girl at the reception told me rudely: "next time we will not allowed your dog to stay because its big". WHAT?! I told her I asked them in advance about the dog 10 kg, they confirmed and they charged money. So tell me in advance or shut up. Its a matter of communication with your guests. She just pissed me off before my way back home.
