The room was a bit small for the size of bed. But this is Africa.

The staff was very friendly. The room was much more than the price reflected in Entebbe. I would have expected to pay more for such a nice place so near the airport. We were picked up from the airport by a friendly employee waiting for us at the door. The stay was a delightful rest from a long journey.

The shower tiles can get a bit slippery but nothing that can't be solved by putting a towel down.

The airport shuttle was bang on time. Okra House is definitely on the list for my next trip to Entebbe. It was a comfortable walk to Entebbe town and Victoria Mall - about 50 minutes. The public beaches are within easy walking distance.

If anything, then breakfast is a little bland.

Our third stay here and will definitely return. Excellent staff and convenient location, close to the lake and town centre. Only a short drive to the airport but still very quiet

From the beginning to the end of the stay it was great! Great communication before arrival, the driver was at the airport on time with a smile and a card with my name visible, and in the hotel there were also great people who served us there. The hotel is very close to the airport, with a nice garden and good conditions for staying. I recommend this place and I will definitely come back there!!

As u can see from the name of the hotel, House. This is a real house, like a home house, u will definitely feel at home during the time u spend here. And one of the most amazing thing is, this is the cleanest hotel I have ever seen in Africa. Even compare with those five stars'. In the five stars' u know they're clean because u know there's the standard of five stars. Yet in the OKRA HOUSE, u see they're taking care of the house like home, and even the sewer and corner has ZERO water stains. Fast wifi, nice views, lovely garden, kind and beautiful housekeepers, handsome driver, free airport delivery and pickup. Everything is the best in the area, and surprisingly lowest price amount them.

Unfortunately I missed the breakfast because of my early flight times. Due to the near Lake Victoria, there is a lot of insects, but the hotel is taking good care with nets. I would prefer prices given in the local Shillings, not in Dollars (which I don't have) or any other foreign currency. If I like to pay cash, I must know the amount in Shillings.

Charming old building in a nice garden; friendly welcoming staff; Nice rooms; easy to find. Good value for money. Will surely come back next time I am in Entebbe.

We liked everything. Very helpful staff, transfer to airport and back, even late at night. Amazing garden and original African design inside. Cosy and clean room, beautiful view. Breakfast is good, pretty enough to be well fed.

the room next door had some noisy guests but i noticed once they were gone out for the evening, from 7pm onwards, it was very peaceful

i did not really have any breakfast but Angel, who truly is like an angel, was kind enough to make me some excellent coffee; she signed me in, made me feel very comfortable during my stay at the hotel. she guided me as to where to go for my walks around the area and to the shores of Lake Victoria and to the beach resorts and the old Entebbe airport area. Entebbe is a generally a safe place to walk around, very green and pleasant around the Lake Victoria. also the hotel has a driver and gardener who is very helpful in getting you well negotiated prices from boda boda drivers to the town centre malls etc. i am so sorry i forgot his name but i was very impressed with him and his polite behaviour to all his guests.

Not having tea/coffee break utensils in my room but contacted Gloria and she organised coffee utensils for me nd I'm grateful for that, and outside my bedroom bathroom😢 the room on the advertisedment article not the same🤷‍♀️ as the one given on arrival. But will book again to the place because of friendly staff and the place is near the airport and quite night to ease your mind during the week

Good, because I left earlier than the breakfast time but arranged to have a take away breakfast and the staff Gloria and the other lady understood and organised a simple take away breakfast for me
