Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Beautiful location, very green setting with lots of birds (and monkey) around the pond down below the restaurant. Comfortable and spacious room. Great food! And service is very friendly.

United KingdomThe only downside was the shared bathroom which was a long walk away, not particularly clean and with a very basic shower/sink. It offered no privacy, and made going to the toilet at night very difficult.
The food was excellent value. The room was great - just bring insect repellent and make sure you zip up before sundown. It came with some lovely touches such as moveable lamps and homely flags. There were plenty of hammocks, and the private balcony overlooking the swamp was a lovely surprise.

It is located in Entebbe, about 15-20 mins from the airport. The place is cozy, the staff extremely gentle and ready to help; you will enjoy the trees, ambiance, and seeing Maximus (you will not miss him😊). The food is good, and affordable. The pumpkin soup is to be tried 😀.

United KingdomSometimes it took a long time for food to arrive for dinner, with one person getting their food quite quickly, and other party members having to wait an additional 15-30min.
There was a wide choice for the breakfast included with the room - and all very tasty. There were also several vegetarian options on the menu in general, which we appreciated. We enjoyed the many activities available, and the fact that it is only a short walk to the mall and other cafes and restaurants. There was plenty of space to lounge in the gardens and observe the animals (monkeys, birds), and the rooms were well-designed and clean, with several useful features such as drinking water and an umbrella.

SpainToo many mosquitos in the toilet. I would like to have an spray there to kill them, but the toilets and the shower are really nice, is like being in the jungle.
I stayed in a tent and it was amazing. Highly recommended. Everything confortable and stunning views. The food of the restaurant was exceptional!!! Variety of cocktails. The staff facilitated everything we wanted :) thank you

Well thought out concept. We loved the amenities, cafe with good food and menu choices, monkeys running around property were entertaining, well manicured gardens, thoughtful details. The spa offers great massages, body scrubs, and mani/pedi services. We enjoyed a 90 minute deep tissue massage after touring UG for three weeks. The hotel was a great spot for relaxing upon arrival or before departing.
