Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyThe pictures of the breakfast buffet on Booking.com did not match reality. The room was a bit dusty. The walls were pretty thin and the family next to us kept us up all night.

United StatesCheck in was super painful, took WAY to long. Location is a bit away from the areas we wanted to go to. Sauna is in a funky location, very public.
Clean place. Well done. Loved the underground parking, elevator straight to our floor. Breakfast was above average, not great but good. Didn't hear other guests. Very peaceful place and slept great (bed was comfy). Shower/bathroom worked well.

South KoreaIt was a perfect stay. The hotel is new, clean and very well organized. The location is just 5minutes away from a beach, with several restaurants close by as well. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the shower was good too. Highest praise for the hotel staff, everyone was exceptionally friendly and useful, Victoria in particular gave us great recommendations for restaurants, cafes and places to visit. They also make available for the guests to take chairs, towels and sunshades to the beaches nearby. If we are ever in Punta del Este again, this is the place we are staying. 10/10 would recommended

United StatesWe failed to read the fine print on Booking.com and we had to pay in USD. Fortunately, the neighboring Enjoy Punta del Este Resort y Casino will provide USD at their teller/caja. I didn't have to pay an ATM fee when I withdrew this way, but it was a minor inconvenience. Hopefully, this review can help someone avoid the same mishap moving forward.
The hotel is decorated well, the rooms are very modern and clean, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the pool and gym (w/balcony for sunbathing) on the top floor are very nice amenities. The towels and bedding were high quality, and we slept beautifully. The location is great as well, as we were able to walk to nearby restaurants and bars.
