The hotel is wonderful. The rooms are beautifully appointed and include a nice bathtub. The location is great in a quiet gorgeous neighborhood of large beautiful homes. You will need a car or taxi/ride share as it is not walking distance from Punta’s main attractions. The breakfast is excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

Guests smoking in open areas where breakfast tables are located. May be it's not a hotel's problem, but smoking guests may be warned.

A perfect place to relax. No noises, no kids, all guests behave very nice, even a greeting is a subtle smile. Stuff exists for all your needs but at the same time is transparent. Everything nice, clean and quiet. Will come back with my wife. No doubts.

Location is too remote unless you have a car. The hotel is nestled in an area of elegant private homes, not in a commercial area. We were hungry on arrival and our room was not ready yet, and were directed by the nice receptionist (the 2 we dealt with on our stay were trilingual in Span/Eng/Port) to go on foot to places within a mile away —but most of those places turned out to be either not serving in the mid-afternoon or had gone out of business. We ended up having to wait til dinnertime to have food (and because Uruguayans don’t eat dinner til after 9 pm we were the sole dinners at 7:45), and it was a long walk home in the dark without a sidewalk. If we had known how remote the location was and how hard it was going to be to find an open cafe or a store, we would have brought fruit and snacks with us. Hotel should consider adding a small cafe or store on the property, or having fruit/snacks in the lobby. There is nothing to buy to eat or drink while lounging in the lovely pool area. Bring your own things to eat/drink to enjoy your stay better! Very nice bathroom and shower was great (huge tub is weirdly located in the main room not the bathroom); room lacked a box of tissue, no body lotion, and the TV remotes were very complicated/no instructions provided and we gave up trying to figure out anything but Netflix (which we enjoyed having).

Small, quiet, nice contemporary architecture, 2 stories, not a high rise as is the norm in this city; lovely pool set in large peaceful green setting. Coffee and breakfast foods available just a few steps away from the rooms. 5 min Uber/taxi from bus station and beautiful beaches.

Not up to standard of a boutique hotel. Room is a bit basic. There is a hot tub but no bathrobes provided, nespresso machine available with 2 pods included, then to be payed. Towels quality poor. Limited common spaces (1 small room as reception/lounge/breakfast room. Overall is a good hotel for the price, but not a boutique hotel

Unfortunately, I had problems sleeping at night because the other people made a lot of noise when they arrived at the hotel, but in this case, the problem is structural, the walls are thin and the people have no good sense

We enjoyed very much staying at Live Hotel and will return for sure. Loved the location in a quite residential neighborhood, close enough to Punta del Este Peninsula and also easy access to rota 10, direction La Barra, Manatiales etc., Staff was very friendly, we found our room super clean every day and having a nice and tasteful breakfast at the terrace was a great starter into the day!
