They seemed short-staffed. Receptionist was also working at the bar, which weren't near to one another. Bar was closed more than open during my stay. The shared men's bathroom was small for the number of beds. It was also usually wet and messy. No paper towels or air dryer was provided in the men's bathroom. The place has so much potential with pool and bar, but execution is sub-par.

Matress wrapped in plastic. Good for young people who want to party but loud until midnight, not greatif you prefer to sleep early. Area not as nice at night. Private room is pricey for the city.

There was really nothing for us that we didn’t like.

The location is excellent as are the staff. The rooms are really comfortable, with a good bathroom and little fridge. We had an apartment which was perfect for our small family group. We were given some great suggestions to explore Ponte del Este and the surrounding towns. Overall we were really happy and would return to TAS D VIAJE Suites again.

Unfortunately the kitchen was closed quite early and opens quite late so I had to rush/wait to prepare food. For me that’s a no go in a hostel.

All in all the Hostel is quite a Good Choice! Nice Location and very friendly people.

The girl at the reception was very angry and moody at me for not filling the "online check in form". I've been at dozens of hotels this year and never encountered an issue by not coordinating my check in time. As we arrived by ferry I wasn't sure on the arrival time and didn't have a cellular signal to update the hotel, so I apologize to her again as I did at the reception. The breakfast is pretty poor. You can get much better food for 20$ in any cafe in town. The eggs were bland, no seasoning at all. Other than just bread and kinda dry pastries. The pool and common areas are pretty noisy. It wasn't an issue for me but older people might not fit with the vibes of the hostel.

Great location, fair price. The pool and bar area have a nice vibe and decent cocktails. You can buy sim cards at the reception to save some time at your arrival. The bike and surfboard rental options are nice, although we didn't try it.

Few bathrooms. Also not practical to have showers. Female room is very small. Difficult to transit in the tight space with luggages all around. I stayed during the low season, so it was fine. But during high season these things may be very annoying

Facilities are good. Staff is friendly. Good location, close to restaurants, cafes, bars, supermarkets. I had a pleasant staying.

The room I stayed was quite creepy, hard to get natural light from the window and not convenient. For example there’s only one main light and you can’t turn it off from the bed. No small lights close to the bed. Not very clean. Crushed mosquitos on the walls.

We were spending the rest of the day in town and leaving at night, so we ask if we could leave the backpacks during some hours. They said we could leave them until 2pm and after that THEY CHARGE 15 DOLLARS for the service. This was really annoying, and it's the first time that something like this happens to me in my travel history.

The common areas are really nice, specially the backyard with the pool. The room was very spacious, the beds confortable and private, the sheets clean and nice.
