I spent two nights here. The atmosphere was amazing. I could feel how living around Uzbekistani people and it's joyful. The host was very kind and she told me about the story of the house. Her daughter was also very helpful in providing me taxi to Bukhara train station. You know, the breakfast was great.

Suggest a sensor light above the stairs. There's a narrow access to the shower in front of them, so good lighting here is essential.

Gorgeous host. Perfect location, 10 minutes walk to most of the attractions. Whisper quiet, comfy bed, clean and well managed. Great breakfast. There's a tendency to overdo breakfast in other establishments to the point you can't eat it. Here is the perfect amount.

The walls were thin but it’s a very little problem.

The location was very convenient. The guesthouse was beautifully decorated and had real character. The host was warm and friendly and the breakfast excellent.

Bukhara is a small place much smaller than Tashkent. So, my first impression of Bukhara was a little down. Lanes are narrower and zig-zag. Overall, the Art Guest House USTO is good, but as I was staying on the ground floor and used a bathroom on the 1st floor, it was a little unexpected to me. Bathroom quality is good only the issue with the water flow or pressure is really low, so better to keep that in mind otherwise it takes a little while to finish a good bath.

I got a room on the ground floor. It was a nice, comfortable cozy place, beautifully maintained with paintings and local art. The Lady, the owner is a very charming person. I guess all the other family members are also great.

Lovely family home with good wifi, outdoor common area. Welcoming, casual atmosphere. Some steep wooden steps to get to the rooms. Good breakfasts. And the photo gallery which the family run is a must- see.

Everything was great. Take care when going up and down the steep stairs between floors.

Umida, her son Hofez, and daughter in law were wonderful, kind hosts in their historic 120 year old home. It has character and is a very short distance to the centre of the important monuments in the old town. The family is always there to offer help and support. See the highly impressive, extensive exhibition of Umida's late husband's photography exhibition if you can.

Not your typical chain hotel, but a soulful place where you can stay with a local family and learn more about the history, culture, and cuisine of Bukhara. Umida and her family are by far the best hosts I've ever stayed with - extremely kind and hospitable!! And the guest house itself is very quite and comfy. Definitely made my visit to Bukhara unforgettable.
