Clean hotel and friendly staff. Superb location right infront Registani Square. Accessible to other tourist attractions. Lots of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Interior design of the hotel is very pleasant. Breakfast is good, with fresh local fruits and berries, also they have tasty blini, sirniki and oladyi. Boss buat fresh kopi sendiri bila saya order. During our visit, whole Samarkand city had problem with water, no water everywhere (main water pipe towards the city got problem). However, the Hotel management handle the situation very well, they got big water storage to cater all guest. And also when it's about to run out, they outsource the water privately from the lorry tanker to supply the clean water. I had fun watching the process they fill up the water storage unit from the lorry tanker. Overall, me and husband had pleasant stay here. Definitely will come again.

A small family-friendly cozy hotel, everything is absolutely new, the owners of the hotel are very kind and speak English fluently, they helped with all questions, highly recommend. Beautiful location, 1 minute to Registan Square! A 10 minute walk through the ancient streets will take you to the Gur Amir Mausoleum!

exceptionally good location - right outside Registan square, close to shops and restaurants. staff super helpful and friendly. breakfast was good. no coffee machine but not a major problem. brand new hotel, room looks fresh.

The location of this hotel is great as it’s located within 1 mile radius of Registan. Plenty of small restaurants and convenience stores in the area. Note that the roads are narrow to get to this hotel but if you walk 2 blocks outside, you are at the main road (Registan) and easier to get a taxi.

Location is amazing, right across the street from the Registan. The rooms look new and clean. The breakfast buffet was very good and had a lot of variety. My husband and I traveled with our adult daughter and stayed in a room with 4 twin beds rather than a queen and sofa bed, we were all very comfortable. The best part is the staff, they’re phenomenal! My husband had a case of food poisoning from Istanbul and passed out the first morning we were in the hotel room. The staff called the medics for us, who gave him some medication for high bp, fortunately my husband recovered over the next day or two. The staff came and checked on him multiple times throughout our stay. They were so kind, it made a huge difference for us being in a foreign country. We cannot say enough good things about them!

Perhaps the only con was the lack of good food options around the hotel, most restaurants had low ratings and don't serve very good food.

A very cozy family run hotel literally just 2mins walk away from the Registan. I've read some negative reviews prior to arrival so I was a little wary. My experience at Diplomat was the opposite, it was completely positive with helpful and friendly staffs, clean and large rooms. There were some minor language barrier as we do not speak Uzbek or Russian, but it wasn't a problem at all as the hotel staffs tried their best to help us at anytime.

The hotel is just beautiful. It is 100 metres from Registan and Bibihonim, the two main attractions. Lots of restaurants and cafes, a beautiful park around Registan for a night stroll. The staff are just amazing, so helpful and speak 4-5 languages, including English. Highly recommend.

it is a family business. The father and the 2 sons run the hotel beautifully. they work very hard to please everybody and try to make every guests comfortable. Though the father did not speak English but two sons are speaking fluently. The father is very friendly and kinds that makes all the guest comfortable. The best are Breakfast selections and the locations . This hotel is very new... so it is beautiful, clean and wonderful appropriate designed bath room.

My stay at Diplomat Premium in Uzbekistan was exceptional. The hotel seamlessly blends modern comfort with traditional Uzbek design. The new and elegantly furnished rooms provided a good retreat. The staff was very nice and kindly to ensure a perfect stay. The hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring Uzbekistan's cultural heritage. Everything was great.

The room was nice. Clean. Air conditioner unit worked perfect. Bathroom was spacious and modern. The outside of the hotel may not look the best. But once inside it’s a really good property. Also they offer transport in and out of the hotel. Which is great under the same price. I think it’s a great value. The location can’t be better as far as proximity to all the sights.

There were no stairs to the second floor.

The hotel is situated in an ideal location, right next to the Registan. However, the immediate surroundings consist of ugly blocks and a neglected neighborhood playground. There's absolutely nothing visible from the room window. Additionally, our room was in the attic, making it very stuffy. The window was very small, and hardly any air could come through it. The reception staff were very polite and helpful gentlemen. The breakfast was okay, although we missed having traditional pastries and baked goods.

We had a very nice stay as a family of four. The hotel is in a perfect location, just steps away from the Registan and easy to explore other main sights on foot. Our room was spacious and the hotel was beautifully decorated. It was a great place to stay!

Abundant buffet breakfast, yet they're serving exactly the same everyday.

Registan Square is 2 mins away by foot. It's a peaceful and quiet place coz it isn't located in the main road.
