Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

My stay at Fatima in Bukhara was exceptional. The hotel seamlessly blends modern comfort with traditional Uzbek design. The new and elegantly furnished rooms provided a good retreat. The staff was very nice and kindly to ensure a perfect stay. The hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring Uzbekistan's cultural heritage. Overall, I highly recommend this Hotel for an unforgettable experience in Uzbekistan.

United KingdomSmooth transfer service from train station. Large room and even larger breakfast. All the facilities you could need. Lovely family atmosphere. Amazing location. I also recommend taking a tour with Olim, although a driver, not a guide, i found him just as knowledgeable as the guides and very enthusiastic and personable This was my favourite hotel in a 2 week trip

Location is perfect- right in the centre but quiet at night. The room was big, light and beautiful with great bathroom. The hotel has a lovely style and atmosphere, very fitting to Bukhara style and staff very friendly and helpful.

KazakhstanChildren running early morning and making a lot of noise, just a lot of. I felt that I was not in the hotel, but in the kindergarten. The staff did not even try to ask children to calm down. If you want to sleep well, think again about this hotel. When I asked the reception staff to ask children to stop running around the hotel and screaming at 8 am!, he told us “but they are children” theee seriously? But it is hotel first of all, not a children play area! No respect to guests I think.
The location is central, rooms are big and clean. Decoration is nice.

MalaysiaThe a/c could have been serviced. Our unit was making noise and blowing out debris the whole night.
Our room is spacious and clean with coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served individually and a plentiful. Location is on the same street as one of the dome shopping/Toqi Sarrofan. Very convenient for eateries, convenient store. About 10-15 mins walk to Kalon Minaret navigating through Toqi Sarrofon, Toqi Telpakfurushon, Toqi Zargaron. From Salon Minaret/ Persian Square walk another 5-8 mins, arrive at Ark of Bhukara. Across the street from Ark of Bhukara is the Bolo Khauz.

AustraliaOnly negative I can think of....perhaps English signs on the breakfast items to tell you what they are....bit of a taste and see!
Fantastic location in amazing Bukhara....walking distance to many sights and a smorgasbord of restaurants and wine shops around too, yet still quiet for a good sleep :) We had a spacious deluxe room with a comfortable bed....strangely the oversheet didn't quite fit, so we also used the one from the single bed. Wifi was excellent by Uzbek standards or Australian for that matter and Rava on the front desk was extremely helpful, particularly with our luggage, up & down the stairs and to the pick up point on the main road....we didn't realise the hotel was on a pedestrian mall, his help was much appreciated! Breakfast was very good, with lots of choices.

United StatesMy room had a window onto the square in front of the hotel and there was noise on the square until about 11pm each evening. It didn't bother me, but could be an issue for more noise-sensitive people.
Excellent location in the city. Clean and nice room. The inner courtyard is nice. Friendly staff.

NetherlandsThank you Hotel Fatima for your warm welcome, kindness and we really enjoyed our stay in your lovely hotel, which was perfectly located. The hotel staff was very thoughtful and kind and went the extra mile. Rava gave us a warm welcome, made sure our stay was comfortable, he brought us water and snacks, proactively gave us tips in Bukhara and checked with us if the breakfast was OK. John was also very thoughtful and caring. When we couldn’t get a taxi to Samarkand, John went with us to the bus station/taxi stand and helped us find a taxi.

TurkeyNothing bad, we really liked this place. My only suggestion is, please consider adding a coffee machine to the reception/breakfast area as some coffee addict guests (like me) will thank you for it!
This hotel is so beautiful. Our room looked even better than the pictures, it was spacious, clean and comfortable. It's right in the center so you'll be able to walk everywhere. The guys at the reception were so nice and helpful, they shared food recommendations that we ended up really loving. The breakfast is also varied and fresh!
