Our stay was fantastic! The breakfast was exceptional, offering a variety of Uzbek dishes and fresh, delicious fruit. The location is great, being close to historic spots. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the place was impeccably clean. This was by far the best place we stayed in Uzbekistan

Hotel Vazira was possibly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The owner is beyond amazing - I have never met anyone as hospitable! We arrived very early, around 11 am, yet they were able to provide a clean room for us. Moreover, even though we had not paid for that morning's breakfast (and it was over an hour after breakfast ended), the owner insisted that we have some coffee and eat some breakfast (all on the house). Breakfast was delicious - there was a huge spread of different pastries, meats, vegetables, and more. The owner also helped carry my (very heavy) bag up to the room. He really went out of his way to make sure that we had more than everything we needed! The room itself was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. There was also a working air conditioner. The location cannot be beat - it is minutes away from Gur-e-Amir, and we could actually see it from our room. All in all, there was nothing that could have been better!

The owners were extremely accomodating, we were able to check in much earlier than the official time and they kept our luggage for hours after check out. Breakfast was very nice. The views and location are really good.

Perfect location, very good breakfast, very friendly staff, spacious room. Everything was above average and we had a very nice stay. The owner even arranged us a one-day excursion to Tajikistan (seven lakes) at a reasonable price (lower than alternatives we found online). Definatelly recommended!!

Spotlessly clean. The host was extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. The location is just about perfect right beside Amir Timor's mausoleum and an easy walk from the Regisan. Good restaurants are within a easy walk too.

Fantastic family-run hotel steps from one of the main tourist attractions and a short walk from the Registan and other main sights. The owners are lovely (and speak English, which is a bonus in Samarkand!) Breakfast is huge.

Nothing . Just to add that our room with 4 beds was in ground floor with no view. Heating in the room was more than our requirements specially toilet heated floor.

Clean property, very near to Amir Tamur Mausoleum and mosque for 5 time prayers. A mile from registan square. Shakil, owner of the property is very good person very helpful.

Everything was great.. Syakir the owner of the place will ensure all is good. Breakfast was delicious. Syakir gave us a free pick up from the train station and insist that he sent us back to the train station. location was very good just next to Amir Temur Mausoleum.. Heater n water pressure was very good.

Excellent location. Excellent accomodation. Excellent service. Excellent staff. Excellent breakfast. Extremely clean and hygienic. The owner is extremely well spoken, accommodating and helpful. Gur e Amir Mausoleum is right outside the hotel, which is where one could start the sightseeing journey. Registan Square, Bibi Khanym mausoleum and Siyob Bazaar too are a healthy walking distance away, and kind of en route to each other. I've had a great solo stay and look forward to going back again.

It was perfect

Fabulous location with an amazing view from the terrace. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the Registan and some good restaurants. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the staff were really friendly (especially the kid!), we loved being given sliced melon when we arrived and the breakfast was amazing - absolutely massive and really varied. We loved it!

Hotel Vazira is located right next to the Amir Temur mausoleum. In the evening, we were admiring the mausoleum in beautiful lights. Overall, the hotel is fantastically located, 15 minutes away on foot from the Registan Square. The owners were great, and the room was very comfortable. It came with all needed amenities! We highly recommend Hotel Vazira for any stays in Samarkand.
