Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNormally in this type of mini-apartment one would get at least 4 sets of plates, knives, forks and spoons, etc. In this case, there were just 2 small plates and 2 large ones, one salad bowl, and the minimum of cutlery (though on the plus side, some excellent sharp knives and a vegetable peeler). We ended. up buying things ourselves (we were there for nearly 3 weeks, so not a disaster, but a nuisance if you were there for say a week). However, I think they will supply e.g. clothes dryers if you ask. The terrace had just 2 chairs, and it would have been great to have some plants or something out there. The carpet is beginning to look a bit tired and could do with a shampoo/refresh. Also, while the information on Booking states that they will take a payment the day before you arrive, in practice this does not happen, and they suddenly ask for payment at checkout. To avoid an awkward situation, since the limit for Uzbekistan transactions on credit cards is set low, I would suggest either paying dollars in cash or arranging several payments over the course of the stay.
This was the best-designed purpose-built apartment that I have stayed in. The superior apartments have an open-plan layout divided by a partial partition wall between the bedroom and living room/kitchen area. The equipment and furnishings are uniformly of high quality (Grohe taps, vast and extremely comfortable bed). The huge terrace is a real boon in hot weather -- we spent a lot of our free time out there. Tashkent City is a work in progress, but there are already quite a lot of cafes open (e.g. a nice Italian-style gelateria and a branch of Bon, a local patisserie and coffee chain). The nearby park is attractive and you can walk through it to Alisher Navoiy, the city's main avenue (and the centre of the metro system). There is also a metro at Xalklar Dostigli, about 5 minutes away. Yandex drivers easily find the Holiday Inn a minute away (the apartments are in the same building) for cab rides. At the same time, the location is close to Chorsu Bazaar for amazing food shopping and a traditional food court very popular with Uzbeks, and to some mahalla areas. There is a generous breakfast provided as part of the cost in the Holiday Inn. The staff are a delight. We loved our stay.

PhilippinesEverything! This is our second stay at the hotel. We stayed for one night when we arrived in Tashkent and the reception was amazing, he even waited for us by the gate since the drop-off location of the building complex was on the other side. No worries about this since the entire area is so easy to navigate. The entire place was clean and one of the receptionists even went up to deliver the food! That was extra helpful of them. The breakfast is at a different hotel since I think Istaravshan is a subsidiary brand of Holiday Inn. Not sure. But the breakfast is at the Holiday Inn right around the corner and though I wish it was just in the same building, it's worth a few steps! Lots of good restaurants and mini-markets around the same building complex too. The Tashkent City Mall and plaza is just right across so what more can you ask for?

United Arab EmiratesThe way they handled our room allotment left a lot of desired. We were a group of 11(5 children included). However inspite of requesting earlier and booking well in advance, we were allotted rooms far from each other which was very inconvenient. Am sure this could have been handled better
The facilities were very good and comfortable. Quality of the rooms, appliances and amenities were excellent.

SingaporeI wish the washer has a drying function too.
Perfect location. Tashkent City Park is just a min away. There's plenty of restaurants and cafes around. The apartment is spacious and clean. The place is new. Comfortable beds. I love that they have the bidet spray. Heater was sufficient. Big sofa and comfy dining area. All the staff are always smiley and always so helpful. We sent our clothes for laundry and they came back on the same day, folded or hung nicely. On the 2nd day onwards, we had breakfast at Holiday Inn. Good coffee and good variety of food. Friendly staff as well.

United KingdomNothing, we did suggest a couple of really minor things i.e. Having extra crockery not just 2 of everything but honestly this just paled into insignificance compared to the amazing staff and service.
Superb spacious apartments in fantastic location alongside Tashkent city park.the development is stunning and surrounfed by lots of restaurants and some incredible entertainment with dancing fountains every evening Amazing staff, couldnt be more delightful, even came to take us to the hospital when my husband needed a doctor. Couldn't speak more highly of this place.

United KingdomAll ok, except motor access with a taxi required a short walk as no vehicles are allowed inside the development, in either direction access was around 250m on foot.
Arrived late (flight timing) and the staff on duty was helpful and interactive. The accommodation was effectively a one bedroom flat with a kitchen and bathroom. Located in a new development Tashkent City which was quiet overnight but within walking distance of a large park with daily son et lumiere shows, and on the Main Street restaurants and bars serving good food

ItalyUnfortunately, the night comfort was disturbed by a very noisy air extractor not possible to switch off.
It is in a modern and elegant area of Tashkent, with a beautiful park where it is nice to walk even in the evening. You can reach a couple of subway stations in a walking distance. At the reception, the staff was kind and professional, but the approach is a bit impersonal. For example, we were given no information about breakfast and, having to leave very early the next morning, we were not offered any transfer options. However, the apartment is very large, well-furnished and equipped with electronic appliances, useful for longer stay.

United KingdomNo specific complaints, but be aware that: Bringing the breakfast to the room is an unusual arrangement (make sure you tell reception what time you want it provided). The hotel is in a very newly developing area of Tashkent, so the facilities are still evolving nearby. But it is quite central and quiet and there are decent places to eat nearby. The room was very clean, but the bathroom smelt of drains.
Nice room and good facilities in the room. Comfortable bed. Also big enough for somewhere to work in the room. I appreciate the laundry facilities in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet and felt safe.
