We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaIt’s the only hotel we’ve ever stayed in with opaque glass panels in the doors, which lets in light from the stairwell/corridor at night.
Very quiet as it’s well back off the street. The building itself is quite picturesque. Less than 2km walk from the main attractions, which is fine for us. The host gave us a nice breakfast box on our departure when we had to catch an early train.

Beautifully decorated hotel with only 9 rooms, that is very well situated in a quiet courtyard. The manager is a super nice person. The breakfast was very good and varied. There is also a cozy chilling area on each floor.

Very friendly service which went above and beyond with frequent offering of tea and coffee. The hotel offered a safe and secure from the busy streets outside. The attention to detail was second to none. Fantastic breakfast. Great advice on where to visit and how to get to next destination. The all round professional of the manager and his team made our stay comfortable and memorable.

NetherlandsThis is a family owned guesthouse. The owner is very friendly and always helpful. His wife prepares every day a delicious breakfast. Location is great, all main sites are within walking distance, e.g. the Registan. A big shout out to the reception clerk, very friendly and super helpful and he always serves delicious green tea with some sweets. Samarkand was one of the highlights of our trip to Uzbekistan and for sure this guesthouse was a little gem! Highly recommended

The staff is the absolute best and spoke English. They were very friendly and Jama provided great recommendations that allowed us to experience Samarkand from a locals perspective, like where and when to get the best plov in town! The air-condition rooms were a great escape from the heat and the garden was a great place to relax in the evening. Registan, Bibi-Khanym, and the Mausoleum of Amir Timur were an easy walk. Everything else was a short taxi ride away. We will definitely be coming back.

United Arab EmiratesThe street is a little dead at night, though the location is very close to all the main attractions. The breakfast is decent, though simple, which seems to be the case in most hotels in the area.
The staff is very kind and it is an old house with very nice high ceilings and a tastefully decorated room, the bed is big and comfortable, there is good air conditioning, wifi and hot water. Moreover, my flight was delayed by 5 hours and they arranged to pick me up at 4 am from the airport in spite of the delay and two people (a girl who spoke English) and the driver came to pick me up. Very hospitable.
