Everything. Location, the family, the breakfast, view, insulated rooms (slightly cozy), cleanliness, everything. Islam is a sweetheart, he speaks English and helps with whatever you need, from cabs to tour guides. I'd definitely love to stay here again.

Location, view, breakfast were all very good. Breakfast room was airy with a lovely view. Very tidy and clean. Staff were so helpful and always available even when 12 of us arrived at 12.30am. Some in the group thought the beds were hard and others thought they were perfect. All round this is exactly where I would stay if we returned to Khiva.

The Hotel Nazira Borique is a real gem. Not only is the location absolutely fantastic, as it is right next to the Mohammed Rakhim Khan Madrassah and the old fort. From our room we could see many of Xiva's architectural masterpieces, such as the Kalta Minor Minaret. The rooftop terrace is simply spectacular and offers a great view of the above mentioned sights as well as the other minarets and many highlights of Xiva. And everything is just a few minutes of walking distance away. As a bonus right next to the hotel is a wonderful restaurant with excellent local dishes. Honestly, the location couldn't be better. Plus, the hotel is spotlessly clean and feels very cozy. But the real stars of the show are Ruslan and his family, who are the friendliest and most welcoming people you could wish for in a hotel. They look after you and your well-being like no other. The drivers are also absolute professionals and super nice. All in all, we had a wonderful stay here and missed it as soon as we had to leave. Anyone can stay at a random Hotel like Hilton or Hyatt or any of the other global chains, but this is a real experience.

The tea and coffee arrangements could have been better!

I loved our room. We could see the ark and the minaret from our window. The terrace also has a beautiful view. The breakfast was good. However, no cream or milk for coffee or tea! All guests had to take their shoes off before entering the hotel, which kept the place very clean! The hotel owner was very helpful in arranging our taxi to Bukhara.

Everything about Nazira was perfect - this was our favourite hotel in 3 months of travel in Central Asia. The owners are genuinely warm and friendly, helpful people who really understand hospitality - the rooms are as promised, a good size, clean and comfortable, they added an extra mattress topper when I asked to soften the bed, there's hot water, tea and coffee available all day and night. The rooftop terrace overlooks old city Khiva, we watched the sunset and stars with a nice drink and it was beautiful. The location is magical, just a few minutes walk through all of the old city museums, mosques, madrassahs and palaces. It's also close to a couple of convenience stores near the gate and even closer to good restaurants with real vegetarian menu options! It was also safe and convenient to be able to park our car at the front of the hotel.

For me the mattress was to hard.

Very lovely small hotel with nice rooms and kind owner. They allowed us to check in in one room earlier because we arrived early in the morning. After checkout we were able to store our luggage in the hotel until we went to the train station. They arranged a trip for us. For breakfast we had a lot of delicious homemade cookies.

Size of the room. Could be better if it is slightly bigger.

The location, the clean and bright room, the view from dining room and rooftop, the staff: Ruslan and his son Ilyas were very friendly and helpful. They let us checked-in even though we arrived early. The whole hotel area is clean. We also liked the breakfast buffet - many dishes and some dishes are changed every day, the melon and watermelon were very sweet. We did not have electric kettle in the room but we can have coffee and tea any time from the dining room.

The hotel has a wonderful location, right in front of the Kunya Ark. The views from the dining room and roof (to which you have access) are fantastic. Our rooms were bigger than expected, and everything in the hotel was exceptionally clean.The staff very friendly, helpful, and attentive. For example, when we had an early departure, the manager brought forward breakfast from 8am to 7am just for us. Moreover, the breakfast was varied and generous.

The owner and his son were extremely nice and helpful with everything we needed, the even gave us free breakfast the first day as we arrived early. The hotel is very clean, a family house with very beautiful views from the terrace and the room window. They made our stay perfect in every sense.

This was the best place we've stayed in whole Uzbekistan. The location was perfect. Everybody was super friendly. The breakfast was huge and diverse. We also were able to eat very early in the morning. We really appreciated that. Also everything was clean. The beds were nice and soft. The AC worked good. We truely loved our stay.

A very nice hotel in an excellent location in the old town. The host is very helpful, with excellent knowledge of history, he advised us about interesting sights. Clean rooms with good facilities. Beautiful view from the terrace.
