Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Royal Bukhara Hoted is in a prime location in Bukhara but still in a very quiet street All historic attractions, monuments, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The hotel is new and very comfortable with spacious rooms and luxurious furniture. Breakfast is very generous, with all sorts of fruits, hot and cold beverages, delicious fruit jams, varieties of local honey, local pastries and bread, meat products... In one word - gala.

United StatesSuggestions for improvement: put small table and chairs on the balcony for sitting; our room was large enough to put a small sofa and coffee table. The desk and chair was not very useful. Really, there was only the bed to sit on. We didn't see a safe. Breakfast was from 8-9 am which was a bit short duration. The trash in the bathroom was not taken out before we arrived. It's a shame that there is no courtyard outside. Rather than sit in the breakfast room inside, it would have been nice to have a seating area.
Location was on a side alley from the main street coming from the airport. 5 minute walk to Laybi Hauz. Beds were comfortable, all very new. Staff was incredibly courteous and flexible. We asked for an early check-in and late check-out, as well as a later breakfast which they accommodated with a smile. Very quiet. Shower pressure good, bed linens clean, towels nice and thick. Breakfast was fried eggs, sausage, local bread, yogurt, juice, somsa, crepes, cheese with a cappuccino maker. Air conditioning worked perfectly.

The location is just in the centre of the city, the variety choice of shops & restaurants inc. cafés next to it, the chain of karavansarays are in a walking distance too.
