This is a great family run guest house. The place is well located close the Registan square. It is very clean, spacious and with all you needed for your stay in Samarkand. It is a great value for money and hosts are very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend the place and would come back.

Water pressure in shower was a bit weak. A hair dryer in the bathroom would be plus Owner could be a little informative. As a traveller some small information about surrondings like where to eat, what to do by a local would be helpful.

Spacious, clean room in a safe and convenient location. It has a very polite and helpful owner. Bed and pillow are very comfotable. I took very nice sleep. I would reccomend this guest house to other visitors without a hesitation.

This facility is so comfortable that it has become difficult to make reservations. I guess everyone who stayed here wants to be a repeat customer.

The owner family here are very trustworthy people. This is why I decided to stay here for the third time. And they had a beautiful new room.

The room was on the small side, especially the bathroom. Bed was comfy however and the area was really quiet at night which was great. One small tip: Please add a small nightlight to the bedside. Only option was a full-on overhead light or darkness

This a great family run guesthouse in the centre. The host family are very kind, communicative (in english) and helpful. They make a lovely breakfast each morning and are incredibly accommodating. The guesthouse is really nicely laid out with the middle courtyard to enjoy breakfast outdoors. Location is perfect, 5mins walk from the centre - Registan. and good local restaurants walking distance. Excellent value for money considering the location, kindness of hosts and breakfast.

The owner is an extremely nice and polite man. The location of hotel is good, just a few minutes walk to the major sightseeing places. The breakfast is also very plentiful and delicious. I really enjoyed my stay in Amira Hotel.

The Wi-Fi in Uzbekistan in general is not very good, and it was no exception here. If you need to work from home, I recommend you download all files to your computer before entering the country.

Samarkand Amira is an excellent place to stay right by the Registan! It was clean, comfortable, with a good breakfast, and run by the very helpful Firuz. It is also right next to the street where one can get a shared taxi to Shahrisabz, which is very convenient if you want to make that trip. Firuz was also very accommodating when I changed my train ticket to leave a day early, which I appreciated very much.

The staff of the hotel was very good. They made sure we had all the immigration formalities completed. They also offered us breakfast in bed option as we had an early morning flight and it was too cold to sit outside and eat

Nice comfy room with an inner courtyard that's within 15 minutes walk to the Registan Square. Very kind and hospitable hosts that looked after us well, we had nice breakfasts during our stay and loads of tea. Even let us use a room and facilities before our late train journey. Would come back if we're in Samarkand 😊

In winter rooms can get pretty cold, and the infrastructure of the area is poor so I did have a few electric outages for hours back to back in two days that snowed a bit. Room was clean but towels had some stains. There are no wardrobes of any kind or even some useful tables in the room, and no kettle despite being written. Also the internet was OK at best.

It is extremely central though the streets may seem a bit dodgy. Beds are comfortable, the breakfast is superb, and it is in an overall quiet area.
