Since Samarkand is quite a big city, it is often necessary to call a taxi in order to reach the main attractions.

It’s really close to everything ( 5-15 minutes in a car) The staff were really helpful specially Ilham at the reception! I only stayed for two nights, and that was convenient for anyone thinking of coming to Samarkand.

The very helpful staff down to their rooms are superb! I would recommend this hotel especially for those first timers that would visit uzbekistan, this hotel would be a great help as they speak english well and they will also help you locate those places youd like to go to.

unfortunatelly we had some problems with wifi but than we realised that staff told us the wrong wifi name. Thanks Ilham for correcting that too. Room was a bit small for 3 people

Hotel staff 'İlham' was one of the best and the most helpful person i have ever met. He always helped us on everything (literally) room was so clean. Breakfast was good and enough to make you full :)

We really liked the stay at Samarkand travel hotel. The host, Mr. Israel and his family are one of the best host I have met in Uzbekistan. He dropped us to the nearby locations as we didn’t have the Uzbek sim to book the Yandex car. Hotel is located near the mall, restaurant and accessible to all places.

Hospitable host. Offers assistance, whenever required. Location is good, walking distance within the attractions. Breakfast is good specially the pancake and shawarma. They also offer tours at an affordable price. Price is of great value for its cleanliness and location.

It’s a beautiful family business! Mother checked me in. Father took care of breakfast etc and the son checked me out. Breakfast was the best and they agreed for my late checking without extra charge. I will stay there next time.

WiFi not always working very well, I think need to change better routers. and I found ants in the room, wooried they would come bed and bite me.

Good location with hard working staffs and clean environment! Near hotel there are small supermarket and restaurant can solve hungry stomach and other needs! I spent 3 nights in this hotel and observed every staff was hard working with smile! Reception desk young General manager can speak English, Russian, Uzbek language and Tajik language, very easy to communicate with! Bedclothes are clean. We chose the room on the 2nd floor, it's bigger than 1st floor, spacious one. Satisfied with this hotel.

The room was really small, the windows of the room face the inner courtyard where people can walk and sometimes see you as the curtains in our room did not cover the whole length of the window.

The rooms were clean, the receptionist was helpful and spoke both english and russian. Breakfast was fine. The hotel is in a good location in a walking distance to Registan.
