I clearly heard my neighbours talking, so it was a bit annoying.

I liked the place, it was cozy, in the morning host brought me breakfast, everything was okay. Host also let me to left my bag, when i went to explore the city.

Located in a small lane (but can be easily located in Yandex go taxi app). No dustbin in the rooms. Water pressure in toilet sometimes too low.

This is a home stay and not a hotel.Friendly host. Homely atmosphere making it comfortable if you are travelling with family. Walkable distance from Registan square. Good breakfast which they customised for vegetarian like me.

The guest house is well located down a quiet side road a few minutes walk south of the Registan. My single room with bathroom was small, but adequate for my needs. The bed was a little hard, but again not really an issue. Breakfast was satisfactory. No complaints as it was good value for money.

The windows curtain is not private.. we felt not safe changing our clothes as the curtain is not totally covered.. location is not strategic but its ok if u taking taxi.

The bathroom sink was too small to hold the toiletries. The shower didn't have hot water 24/7. They probably closed the hot water supply during odd hours. Beds were a little hard. It's a house turned into a hotel, so please don't expect professional hotel service. The super nice and friendly staff made up for it though 🙂

Good breakfast. Very nice and helpful staff. The manager speaks good English, which was rare in most of the hotels in our budget. The room had basic amenities. The location was a short Yandex ride to the Registan square. The staff was flexible and accommodating. They extended our stay for a few hours for a reasonable price and also stored our luggage for a few extra hours for free of cost.

The place was perfect for me. I am traveling alone and the price was inexpensive, host and hostess were both amazing. They warm welcomed me. Food was good too. I cod also put my luggage for the afternoon after I checked out. I will definitely visit this place again.

The pillows are very big and hard and were a bit uncomfortable to sleep on.

The family who owns the place is very nice and helpful and they are always around to give you advice. The location is the best you can have in Samarkand, directly close to the Registan. They make you a nice little breakfast in the morning.

Nothing at all!! The only thing you need to keep in mind is you need to pay by cash

I originally booked this property for a week long stay but my traveling companion wanted 5* quality… even though the reviews are phenomenal.. we ended up staying our final night here and OH WAS IT GREAT! We were first welcomed by the owners wife, beautiful children, and mother. It was so special playing with the kids (we later took them gifts and they had a blast). There’s just something about laughter and fun amongst different ages and language barriers that makes you appreciate the little things in life. We were 3 hours ahead of check in, the owners were fine to check us, but we had to wait a little bit for the room to be ready. When walking in, the room was the cleanest we had experienced on all our journey (over 7 countries) and 2 huge chain hotels that we stayed at in Uzbekistan. The beds were so comfortable as we found in the other hotels they were hard as a rock. The AC worked wonderfully, and TV. WiFi was perfect, the walls and windows are really noise canceling so you can’t hear a thing in the room if people are in the courtyard. The hospitality of the owners were just amazing and beyond welcoming! It was the wife’s birthday and they invited us to dinner, we were honored, but unfortunately we had to decline as we had prior plans with friends. We were given local treats and sweets and I’m so sad we did not stay longer. The hotel is a lovely walk, even in the mid August heat (highest temps all year 2023). I will definitely be returning to Samarkand, and I will be staying here again!

Only thing was they built in an AC at our second day, so we could not spent time in our room. Anyways they asked us before if this is okay. Unfortunately we did not have an AC the first night. Nevertheless 100% recommended!
