Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesMy only complaint is that curtains over glass door to room do not block sun very well; sunrise is very early so the room is quite bright by about about 5:30 am so was difficult to sleep later.
Location was really excellent, owner/staff very helpful and available. Room large and very clean with very good bed and strong hot shower. Wonderful courtyard for sitting and relaxing if desired. Breakfast really good!

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the main areas of Bukhara but quiet. The decor of the hotel is charming with a nice interior courtyard. The staff tries very hard to help and accommodate requests - from laundry, to directions to dinner reservations. Sasha & Sons is a great boutique hotel in Bukhara.

RussiaGreat stuff and awesome facilities! Rooms decorated as an old style house and it's sooò nice to be there. Also, the inside patio with tables and tapchan is perfect for the evening time 💙 The location is also great, in the downtown with beautiful old buildings and mosque. Stuff were too nuce and woke us up for a breakfast (we overslept a few times :)).

KazakhstanIt was some issues with the AC, also wi-fi sometime didn’t work properly. 2 days we were cut out of the electricity(not fault of the staff, the city work), it made a bit problematic to work online for me, but Shaxnoz helped me to solve the problem with sharing her own cellular data.
I really liked the interior of the rooms, beautiful and authentic. staff are very nice, polite, always helpful. Shaxnoza, a restaurant member was really helpful and shaming. Location of the hotel is perfect, not far from the must visit places.

MyanmarOur aircon unit was broken on the first night. We moved to a different room the next morning, but it was a very hot uncomfortable night. Breakfast was not very good.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They are clean. The. Building is nice with courtyards, trees, and flowers. We were able to have a late checkout for our late afternoon train.

BelgiumBreakfast (buffet) is until 9AM and they won't hesitate to wake you if you don't show up. Laundry service was very expensive (22usd for a small bag).
Location is very good, on walking distance of all the main sights and some nice restaurants. Beautiful and large room, clean bathroom, good AC. Staff was helpful and friendly, and speaks english.

Excellent location, very nice and helpful staff including the owner. My room's decoration was just gorgeous! I had a desk to use my laptop comfortably, and the wifi was working very well (although we had to restart the router once - should you receive a "no internet" message, this could be the solution). The breakfast was very good too, and the nice garden (the inner courtyard) is beautiful, smokers can also use it.

United StatesMy room faced the courtyard.. you can hear everything..I had to call reception because a group was having a conversation at 10 pm. Voices carry at night. Did not sleep well at night. I should not have to call. Breakfast could be better. The price was higher. The biggest problem was getting a taxi at 4.45 for the 5.30 am train. Reception was very kind to walk outside and flag a drive by taxi. He instructed in Uzeb to drop me off at railway station. Price was doubled for a 20 min ride. 7 minutes later driver stopped taxi and screamed for me to get out in the dark .. nothing around. I cried and pleaded. Finally said Allahu Akbar. He started car again. I did report this to hotel to file a complaint. I sent them picture of his license plate. I received a reply, however, no follow up as to what happened..only mentioning this as no tourist should be treated this way & to avoid early morning train. Noise complaints could be handled in better manner. This is a family run hotel and they are very nice …
