Everything was great- location, service, staff, comfort, cleanliness. Big rooms. In particular Ollashukur was very helpful and professional in organizing our trip to Aral sea - good cars and drivers. We were very pleased with the trip and the stay at the hotel.

I only thing I didn't like about this beautiful hotel was having to leave so soon

Thanks to everybody at the hotel we really enjoyed staying there so friendly and helpful.we was allowed to check into the room much sooner than we expected .also the hotel booked us a taxi to go on the long drive to Bukhara the taxi driver was really nice and the car really clean and at an excellent price.thanks again.this hotel should be your first choice if visiting khiva...

The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We arrived on the overnight flight and were lucky our room was ready and we were able to check in early. The hotel arranged a trip to the fortresses with great taxi driver Ollashukur who also picked us up from the airport and took us to the station when we left. The hotel was clean, the location exceptional and breakfast was good. The hotel also arranged dollar to SUM conversion at the standard national rate.

Two really very minor points for improvement: 1) a shower curtain would be nice 2) maybe some gentle background music at breakfast to add some atmosphere

The location is very convenient with the old town right around the corner and the station within walking distance (approx 25 minutes). Breakfast selection is very good and hotel is quiet. The single rooms are quite small, but perfectly fine. I had a peak at a double and that one looked really nice!

Small details, I think the room could be improved adding a mirror, a better quality shampoo and body wash and a better hair drier.

Only 1 person staff spoke a European language, for a hotel with internnational guests it may help if more staff can communnicate in english or spanish or so. Russian is spoken.

Fine hotel on the edge of the old town, only 5 minutes walk to the center. Calm and peaceful. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff.

If they make the rooftop as a tea/coffee bar. That would be great. Good view from it.

Just close to the south gate which taxi can drive in so you needn't to walk through the town from west gate (where the ticket office is). It's quite a boutique hotel with local decoration but modern room and facilities. Abundant breakfast with fresh juice and lots of local food in a pretty ‘banquet hall’. Staffs are warming and smile everyday.

Great place in the old city, but in a quiet side street. Really friendly staff, particularly Ollashukur who was so helpful in sorting out some last minute changes to my onward journey. Delicous breakfast. Clean spacious room.

The lack of fridge and paper tissue in the room. It wasn’t annoying but It’s something important for comfort stay.

Breakfast could have been better.

The property is very well maintained and clean. Staff was very helpful and was able to converse in English which was very helpful. It is very well located inside the old city walls and is walkable to most of the places of interest. It also has a terrace which has pretty good views of the old city. Definitely recommend staying here.

Fantastic location, very comfortable jotel and amazing breakfast. The single room wasn't as good value for money as the huge twin for just afew dollarsmore, but it's relative. Still a great price for a comfortable and extremely convenient stay while exploring old Khiva.

I couldn't fault anything about the hotel. In a quiet corner of Itchan Kala, just inside the south gate so a taxi can drive right to the door. Two or three minutes' walk from the centre of the old town. Comfortable hotel, spacious twin bed room, good quality bed, and wonderful buffet breakfast. Loved it.

We had a comfortable time during our 4 days stay. Shokir, Ollashukur and Zulayho, who are part of the staff, are quite kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend Shaherezada Hotel!
