Having travelled very extensively all around the world If any hotel comply with the concept of unique and boutique this one would fit the expectations and the Bill Very goud location almost across from the synagogue and tucked away in a quiet street Top value was the staff Very competent -alert to our needs and very welcoming They arranged for us a private ride by taxi from Bukhara to chiva door to door The driver excellent and very efficient and fast The interior design of the courtyard and breakfast room Very attractive and unique ambiance Highly recommended to all follow travelers Khiva however is a must There are direct flights from Istambul to Urgench so you can explore the Silk Road from khiva down to Tashkent Uzbekistan with its wonderful smiling people let alone their great welcoming attitude and liberties Impeccably clean all over Gracias por todo

Location, location, location! Right in the middle of the old city, every attraction was at the door step! Staff was exceptionally helpful. They arranged an early pickup from the station, made room available earlier than most of the would let you in. Service with smile all around. Could not ask for more. Thank you Shonishin staff.

Great location, lovely breakfast, and extremely helpful staff. Particularly Jahon was wonderful and so attentive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Bukhara and be in the centre of it all. It was also very clean and nicely designed.

The staff is super helpful. The location is amazing within walking distance to all the main monuments. However, it is very quiet and away from the main street so we had a great sleep. The room was super clean and spacious, beds very comfortable, plus nice heated bathroom. Very good breakfast, the owners treated us with cake for Eid.

The bathroom was incredibly spacious, which was a pleasant surprise and added to our comfort during our stay. However, the room itself was not as generously sized. It was adequate for relaxation but didn't offer much space for morning exercises or stretching routines. This was a slight inconvenience. Nevertheless, it didn't detract significantly from our overall positive experience at the hotel.

The location couldn't have been better as it's nestled right in the heart of the old town, within walking distance to all the major tourist attractions. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable and our room was well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests we had. For breakfast there was a wide variety of options to choose from, ensuring there was something to satisfy every palate.

Attention to detail from the rooms to the front desk, this boutique hotel sets the benchmark to international standards. The first thing you'll note is the incredible staff. Jakhongir at the front desk is beyond friendly, knowledgable and polite who goes out of his way to offer you 5 star service. His wife is lovely and sweet as well! The owners of the property popped in from time to time with the Madam making one of the finest breakfasts in all of Uzbekistan--truly remarkable (tip, order the masala omelette)! Our room was exceptional and matched the rest of the property with refined Uzbek style, comfortable and luxurious without being pretentious. Across the board you can tell that everyone at this hotel enjoys their job and takes pride in their outstanding workd. After a long day of exploring the city it was a joy to return to the hotel to relax. I highly recommend the Shohnishin Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Bukhara!

Really welcoming and well run hotel. Location perfect, close to everything. Friendly staff, spotless and well appointed room. p.s. a note generally for Uzbekistan travel which helped us a lot: most ride-hailing apps were blocked on my Samsung Android phone due (I think) to Russian ownership and sanctions. e.g. Yandex which is normally excellent and cheap would not download. However I was able to use Yango (which is basically Yandex designed for Africa but works perfectly in Uzbekistan). No credit card required; just cash to driver; incredibly cheap.

The rooms are freshly renovated and very beautiful design in Bukharian style. The terrace is very nice. Breakfast was very delicious. The reception staff with perfect English was incredibly polite and helpful: found us an English speaking guide, taxi, recommended excellent places to eat, etc.

The location in old town was great; we were near the Jewish Synagogue/Museum. It was in walking distance from the Labi Hauz complex and art galleries. The hotel itself was beautifully appointed. The fabulous staff and manager made our stay wonderful.
