The absolutely amazing friendliness of the owner his wife and staff The comfort - it was home away from home. Clean comfy cosy and all newly renovated in a sympathetic way to the surroundings . Great breakfast with the best coffee ever .!! The owner could not do enough to make our stay pleasant and very confortable . - highly recommend to anyone visiting Bukhara

I loved the historical family story about this unique property . The grandmothers house is truly an authentic unique stay in this historic place - it is so in keeping with the surroundings and the fact that her lovely grandson and his wife are now building a wonderful business here is a lovely treatment to his grandmothers memory .

Nothing major. The power went out the first night we stayed, and it came back on upon letting the host know. I’m sure it was a blimp, but a small one as our phones & cameras weren’t fully charged through the night.

Beautiful rooms, great location, warm hosts. The breakfast was delicious & the experience overall was what you’d expect in a boutique hotel. Appreciate the thoughtfulness.

I don't even know where to begin with the hospitality we received. Umid was a fantastic host and a genuine, passionate and caring person. My partner broke her leg during our stay in Bukhara and he went the extra mile (to say the very least!) to help us direct us to the right people and the right places. He also made sure we were as comfortable as possible whilst waiting for repatriation and made our stay the most pleasant despite the circumstances. We were truly blessed to have chosen his place and lucky to get to know him. He puts energy and passion in everything that he does. He is very thoughtful and cares about every detail. This is reflected in the very special feel that this place has. The word heritage has never felt more appropriate: he resurfaced the story of his family dating back from his greatgrandparents and refurbished this historic house respecting and honouring this tradition. Every room has its own story and design. If you are looking for a glimpse of the so difficult to find but true old bukhara, away from the gloss of the usual boutique hotels, this is the place for you. if you are looking for comfort with a personal caring touch, this is the place for you. Amazing, freshly cooked breakfast are also something you don't want to miss! Best we had in the whole of our trip! Thank you Umid for all the ispiration and positive energy you gave us, we will be back!

Lacked some amenities, especially in bathroom. But Umid is happy to provide them when asked. It’s a little off the main road on a street that is undergoing construction work so dragging luggage through is a little difficult. But Umid will come out to help carry them in.

There are 2 very striking features about Usman Heritage. First, it’s owner and host, Umid, is truly welcoming and goes out of his way to ensure our stay is perfect. He is always available and willing to assist with every need. Second, Usman Heritage is a house and the home where Umid lived and grew up. Left to ruin, Umid took up the challenge to restore it and has done a fine job of making it a comfortable, clean and unique guest house. While still a work in progress, Umid has done a considerable amount of work to make the rooms comfortable while retaining their old charm. We stayed in the Family Room with triple beds which, while spacious, clean and comfortable, still needs some hangings on the wall, hooks and bathroom amenities. We were given a tour of the other double rooms and found them to be very charming. Some are more modern while some have retained the charms of the old house. Usman Heritage is a boutique residence and not a hotel so no facilities are offered other than rooms. Umid prepares breakfast himself and does an amazing job of delivering different and delicious cooked dishes daily. It’s location is fantastic. Walking distance to the central Lyabi square with lots of restaurants. And a 15 minute walk through the quaint back lanes to the Kalon Minaret.

Everything is perfect, it is a nice and homey setup in a family house with history, so don’t expect five star hotel experience.

It was a cozy and homey stay at Usman Heritage Hotel, we absolutely loved the rich history of the house and the well-thought designs done by the owner Umid. Umid was extremely friendly and helpful, he has gone extra miles to give us a tour of the house and explain history and design behind each wonderful vintage object. We also had the BEST breakfast in our entire trip here! Both of us are well traveled around the world, and this is one of the warmest stay that we’ve had, definitely recommend to anyone who is visiting Bukhara!

In general, hotel is very clean and freshly reconstructed rooms have modern equipment. I believe there is a space for improvement of rooms design and adding more equipment and toiletries.

A young entrepreneur Umid created unforgettable experience within the walls of his hotel designed in very traditional way and it’s own family history. Hotel is located close to city centre (5 min walk) with a good access to restaurants, gift shops and sightseeings. Breakfast is individually prepared for guests with fresh products from farm markets which makes it very tasty. Per request, you can also try homemade pancakes.

Wow. What an incredible cultural and family-friendly experience. Umid is one of the greatest hosts we've ever encountered, and we have traveled in many places across the world. His staff were great, too. Truly exceptional. And the breakfast was mouthwatering. Our young kids loved it here and were treated so well. We have nothing but gratitude to Umid and his team. Umid truly went over and above to ensure we had a memorable, comfortable and unique stay in Bukhara. His recommendations were top class, too.

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with strong and stable WIFI signal. Umid, the owner, speaks fluent English and will go a long way to play the perfect host. Cozy family guest house with pros and cons of this type of accomodation
    • Leisure trip
    • Couple
    • Deluxe Suite with Private Patio
    • Stayed 2 nights

Bathroom in Grandma's room is actually outside the room, separated from public zone with just curtains. Once other guests came to us by mistake. Another not very convenient point is abcence of Reception desk. Coming back to bathroom - it is extremely narrow and not comfortable with no separation of shower and toilet zones and lack of storage places. Additionally there is second bed in the room (which is not showed on the official pictures), seriously limitating the roominess. Relatively high price.

This is family-owned small guest house, means hospitality is very warm and feeling is like you're real guest of your friends. Breakfast is fully fresh, prepared specially for you. Inner court is coze. The house is full of history and owners are very helpful. Grandma's room has its own tiny court outside. Location is very close to Koʻkaldosh madrasasi and Lyabi Khauz, which means very center.
